Hi folks,

I received medical request on 08/09/2010 but we went for medical exam. in oct 2nd after the baby born and medical center sent medical reports on 10/07/2010 to Ottawa after that I sent all documents (birth certificate, passport etc.) to CIC on 10/17/2010 and also inform them by email. Now, yesterday I received a letter, medial form from CIC and request for medical exam. I am confuse do I need to ask medical center to sent medical report again to Ottawa? or I need to inform CIC about medicals?

I'll be thankful and appreciate response.

Thanks
Suggestion is to either fax or scan your medical receipts and send it via email to CIC and let them you have completed your medicals. Also, mention date, location, name of doctor, and date it was sent to Ottawa.

If they do not respond within 3-4 working days, then contact Ottawa. There is a fax number for Ottawa somewhere on this forum

Hello All,

I submitted my application to CIC in end week of June, 2010. It has been more than 5 months now and I haven't received any medical request. Is someone in the same boat as me.

Thanks,
NN

I did my medical on 22nd July and in the first week of october I got a letter from Buffalo consulate that they have all my documentations and I just need to send the PPRF. I did that and it got encashed on 21st Oct. After that no updates.

Wanted to know if anybody is in the same boat as mine.

Medical tests after 60days in India

Seniors, please advice....

Got medicals request on Nov 10.We applied CIC when we both were in USA.
Currently i'm in USA and wife is in India.I will go India in March. We both are planning to take medical tests in India.

I have read that if we send medicals after 60days it causes delay in process.

Please advice, is it fine to take tests after 60days in India?

It is always advisable to abide by CIC instructions unless you absolutely cannot help it in which case you would have to contact CIC and state your circumstances/seek further advice. Is there a reason why you cannot complete your medicals here and have your wife do hers in India? Ideally it would be great for both of you to do the tests together and have the DMP mail the stuff as one package but I don't think you are actually required to do that. I think somebody on this forum has addressed that issue before....I could be wrong ofcourse - let's see what others think. Godspeed.
