Hi Priya n All,
Thanks a lot! Truly appreciate support and response..you guys are wonderful!
I have two more questions..
1. I didnt get an RPRF request but still sent a MO today as discussed with Priya yesterday, was\is it better to wait for that request it may say they have moved your file ahead and working on it.
2. When I went for medical I occasionally take an alcohol like may be once in 3-4 months so I replied as No but when doctor asked I said its once in few months and he changed it to less than once in a week, does this affect the medical, any idea if anyone's medical got rejected due to this and little high cholesterol level ?

Basic thing for doing Medical for Canada is if you have any serious health problem and can cost heavily for Canadian Health Services then they will deny you.
Our MD told us above thing.
In your case don't worry.
But you know what you can find some easy way to die ,why you are choosing alcohol. :)

:D :D :D :D thanks Priya! :) haah I dont want to die easily and too soon..so alcohol will make me die slow.. :D anywayz kidding..its just once in a while when there is a party n only beer that doesnt make die..and over limit of anything will surely make die be it sugar, oil, alcohol, cigar or spices..! I dont think once in 3-4 month is over limit :D BTW Congrats to you and I think may be you are in old process thats the reason u got it so soon.. I didnt see any RPRF related sentence or details in my medical request form..but any way I sent it yesterday..lets hope will get it soon..

cooldeepforyou,

They will take your blood and urine for all tests. They will check your blood pressure, eyesight, mouth, ears and all.
Will note your height and weight. It will take no more then 30 mins.
Then they will send you to X-ray department with there reference letter and all.
Total 1 hour ,but we spend more then 2 hour due to long waiting.
Hope this will help 2 u.

I suppose you are referring to the old vs. new process while applying for the provincial nomination. How would CIC know if the AINP nomination was under old or new process? We all sent the application with the certificate and the sticker and there was no "flag" on those. Unless AINP indicated to CIC and sends a list/indicator of "old process" applications that should be processed quicker - I don't think that would be the case. It's simply good luck in having an efficient officer process your file!

No Manny dont agree with u 100% on this, they will have the date, when we send document they have dates when we applied and they will process as per the dates they receive application including date you sent to Alberta but its true that other factors may affect, medical , age, current job, NOC, back ground check - how many countries or states have u stayed and company who does ur back ground - say if have one perm address for a long time in big city in India then background is easy compare to small town.
But anyway we all can just guess no one knows except officer n CIC how they process!! :) so we can argue on all that but doesnt make much sense all it matters is its good she got it earliest and hope all get so soon!! :)

albertatj, I totally agree with you, CIC is very concerned with background check, So it does make a very big difference where applicants are from and their past address. They also go very thoroughly over FBI and other PCC check.

I also think it depends on total number of applicants included on your file. It would definitely take CIC office more time to investigate big Family Security Back ground check as compared to Single applicants.

Any way bottom line is we all have been very patient through out this long process (AINP - CIC), And just need to get calm for few more months. Mean while let's keep up the good work which we are doing right now, Communicating useful information as soon as any one of us heard from CIC, BUFFALO.

Thanks

Thanks

Folks, even I thought old or new process in AINP is nothing to do in CIC process. I was just making the assumption and agreed with the guess priya86 made.

I believe every one who received RPRF so quick after the medicals is going to have passport request pretty soon because following the last years/older post, many folks used to get RPRF request after one month or more after medicals. CIC might be changing gears to process the cases fleetly. What do ya all think???

As of now its just some imaginary folks hope someday we all will meet \ cross somewhere in Alberta! :)
btw I heard from one of my friend that CIC has an year end in june-july by which they have to finalize the quota not sure how far its true.

pokha69,

I am 100% with you on this. Looks like most of us are getting specific RPRF request along with AOR / Medical. I, myself got request to have RPRF send as soon as possible when I received AOR / Medical.

I have been a member of this forum since early last year. And I remember how CIC, Buffalo used to send AOR / Medical first and request for RPRF after that (How ever I don't remember how long previous applicants waited to get RPRF request after AOR/ Medical).

But again let's all share any information we received from CIC, Buffalo and continuously help each other to achieve Canadian dream. We all have been very help full and patient for a long time and doing good job updating fellow members.

Have a very nice weekend you all.

Thanks

Absolutely Image6000, we should communicate as soon as we heard from CIC. Like the way we are bond together now in the forum, it gives lot of enthusiasm towards waiting and we can come up with some good prediction referring one another's time line.
