Any updates on your application? Did you just resend the medical result or you require additional testing?

hello,
For those forum members that got the supervisa approved. Can you please share your parents experience at the port of entry. I am going to send my parents proof of their medical insurance to have on hand in case the officer asks. They want to stay for 2 years, should they state 730 days on the landing card? Do they need to bring anything else with them? Should i bring my proof of income just incase the officer wants to speak with me when i go to receive them?

Hi experts, I have some questions about my Mom’s super visa.. I applied her online (she is from the Philippines), she doesn’t have any travel history, widowed and retired. We are 2 in the family (I’m the eldest) and my sister is still leaving in the Philippines. Was worried that due to no travel history, her application will get rejected (hope not ). Does travel history really needed for super visa application? And I guess having my younger sister, my Mom’s mom (my grandma) and some brother that leave in the Philippines is enough for strong ties in her country? And last one; after biometrics how long does it take before we get a medical request?

Here’s her timeline:

Application Submitted Online - July 20, 2019
Application Received - July 20, 2019
Biometrics Collection Letter - July 21, 2019
Biometrics Done - August 5, 2019

Currently her online application updated to biometrics completed but I haven’t received any email yet.

TIA (Thanks In Advance)

Hi,
I’m applying for my parents super visa for the second time because the first time it got rejected.
Where do I mention the biometric number for them which they had when we applied for the first time ( the biometric is valid for ten years)
Another question that I have is, do I need to mention the UCI number of their previous application on the new application?

All they need to show when they arrive in Canada is proof of insurance.

Hi, my parents arrived this past weekend. They selected 730 days at the kiosk. Once they arrived at the CBSA booth, they provided their 1 year medical insurance documents. No further documents or proof of funds was necessary - bring minimum passport(s) and insurance documents.

My mother's passport was stamped for 2-years stay. The officer did not bother the stamp my father's passport. I spoke with another officer and he said it was not necessary for my father and he would get the 2-year duration.

As well, my father had to speak with another CBSA officer as his account was flagged to undergo Medical Surveillance Undertaking - further testing for TB. I am now in the process of scheduling an appointment for him.

Take care.
