I applied for super visa for my parents the got visa but in their passport it is written multiple!!!!
I did not find any super visa word in the visa issued. Do you think it is a mistake?

no, its like that for everybody, they don’t write supervisa anywhere as far as i know

I finally received the passport request and Biometrics correspondence letter yesterday for my parents. It took exactly 61 days from submission.

Application Submitted Online with upfront Medical - May 09, 2019
Application Received - May 10, 2019
Biometrics Collection Letter - May 11, 2019
Biometrics Done - May 18th, 2019
Visitor Acknowledgement Letter from "The New Delhi Migration Section" - June 4th, 2019
Medical Passed - July 5th, 2019
Request for insurance (even when it was submitted previously) - July 5th, 2019
Uploaded the Insurance policy for 1 year in the account - July 5th, 2019
Biometrics Correspondence Letter - July 10th, 2019
PPR and status changed to approved - July 10th, 2019
Passport Submitted - July 11th, 2019

Biometrics Expiry Date - May 29, 2029 (no letter)
Medical Request - June 18, 2019
Medical Exam done - June 19, 2019
Medical passed - July 3, 2019
Biometric correspondence letter - July 5, 2019
Correspondence Letter - July 8, 2019
Passport Request - July 8, 2019
Final Decisions - July 10, 2019 (application was approved)
Passport Submitted - July 11, 2019

Total time 45 days.

my mother super visa application status showing medical passed on july 10 but I did not receive PPR with this as the most applicants received the PPR request at the same time with medical request...status showing review eligibility and application still in progress...its normal?because I have heard that medical request is sent to only those candidates who they want to issue visa...is that true...please reply someone

Haven’t applied super visa yet but for working parents, should they attach/submit a leave form when applying for super visa? TIA.

2- Will she need to get return flight ticket before applying to show that she is willing to go back ? will this be helpful in the application?

3- Regarding the medical insurance, do I need to buy it before applying? If I do, it should be valid for 1 year from landing, and we still do not know when the application will be processed.

I can reply to what I know, she would not need a return ticket as her return could be two years after she lands so it is not necessary. My inlaws did not have a return ticket.

We bought the medical insurance before we applied, then we worked with the insurance provider and updated the effective date once we knew when they were going to land.

How long have you been in Canada? Seems like you may have moved somewhat recently. You should have NOA showing LICO.

Congratulations!! My dad got correspondence letter today. What about you? We were also waiting for further medical result clearance. I am unable to see the status in online application due to some technical issue with my cic account but looks like medical may have been cleared that’s why they sent us correspondence letter. Hope we get passport request soon.

Hey guys,

I submitted super visa application for my mom yesterday.
Almost immediately , within a few hours, I was asked to pay for the biometrics. Is it normal to get asked for biometrics again? My mother has already taken biometrics last year during her visitor visa application. She has Canadian visitor visa and had travelled to Canada just last year.

Yes, maybe they need additional tests. You can always go with an upfront exam, but its advisable that its better to wait for medical request and dont do it upfront.
