So what is the current status of medical exam online?

It says

• "You do not need a medical exam. We will send you a message if this changes."

There have been no updates to the status section of application since i submitted the application. I received a "Visitor Acknowledgement Letter" stating the UCI and application number. And they said "We have received a large number of visitor visa applications from clients wanting to visit Canada at the same time as you. " But they also said the application is in process and proceeding normally. We received this on June 4th.

Biometrics Done - June 5, 2019
Medical Request - June 6, 2019

Okay, check your account today. Is go key currently down? I can see profile/updated but when I click on action tab it doesn’t show the status and any new message. Anyone else experiencing same?

My parents traveled to Canada last year on travel visa. They did take biometric when they traveled last year.

For super visa application , do we need to go for biometric again?

I think NO.

when you fill in the questionnaire for super visa, it will ask you that were biometrics submitted.
Biometrics are valid for 10 years, since first time submission.

Application Submitted Online with upfront Medical - May 09, 2019
Application Received - May 10, 2019
Biometrics Collection Letter - May 11, 2019
Biometrics Done - May 18th, 2019
Visitor Acknowledgement Letter from "The New Delhi Migration Section" - June 4th, 2019

None of the status has changed since I submitted the application. My parents are traveling to US and then to Canada on July 7th. We are planning to reschedule the application given the delays in processing.

I have a couple of questions-
I see the Biometrics number online but didn't receive an acknowledgement letter. Should i expect one?
Do you know if there is anyway to expedite the application?
Does it help to go to the immigration office personally?
If the super visa processing times have increased, can I apply for a visitor visa while super visa is in processing?

So you mean, it adds 3 more numbers in biometric numbers that bec9me 16 digits? My mother-in-law's biometric numbers has a total of 20 digits.

Hi,

Applied for super-visa at Karachi VAC office paper-based application on March 28th.
Received medical request in 2 weeks and medical was done on April 24th.
A week later received Bio-metrics validity letter.
No communication from Visa office since April 25th.
It has been almost 2 months, now new information.

Is it normal?
Do they send passport request via Physical letter Courier/postal service or only through email?

Any information and help will be appreciated

I mean that after acceptance your biometrics, under Application Status, you see 3 new lines added with Biometric number, Enrolment and Expiry Dates.
My mom’s #is 20 digits too.

Okay, my dad's correspondence letter just arrived today. Now waiting for Passport Request. I am not able to see the detailed status at the moment. My account only showing me the messages tab but not showing status step by step option.

I don't think anyone can visit the Visa office physically to ask about application status.

You will receive a different biomatrix correspondence letter before Passport Request.

Update

My father has passed his medical exam. Now we wait for the passport to be returned hopefully with the PG-1 Visa to accompany my mother to visit us in Canada!
