Hello Friends, I have a query regarding Super Visa for my father who is in India.
I have been working in Canada for last 6 months. I have below queries:

1. I have done flagpole landing last week and got PR. Currently I am waiting for PR card and have stamped COPR document. Can I apply for super visa for my father without PR card (with stamped COPR document)?
2. As I am working for last 6 months, I do not have T4 oR NOA - any tax documents in Canada. Would letter from employer and pay slips for last 6 months will work? Also, prior to Canada I was in US, should I submit tax documents (W2) for last 4 years in US?
3. My father is a heart patient has diabetes as well. He takes medicine for both but otherwise is fit and does not have any other medical history. Is there any chances for failing medical test due to heart disease/diabetes?
4. My father has Canada and US visitor visa and never had rejection. He came to Canada to visit us in July for 3 months. Does US visitor visa speed up the super visa process.

Thank you in advance for your help!

Hi @Bryanna, @scylla , I have seen you have been very helpful on this thread. Thank you for helping all of us out. I need some urgent advice from you:
I have some queries regarding Super Visa for my father who is in India. I have been working in Canada for last 6 months:
1. I will be taking EI parental leave for 3 months starting April. Can I apply my fathers super visa during EI leave (I am sure I will meet LICO requirements with 3 months of EI leave)? Do I need to be on companies payroll (not EI) when I apply for super visa for my father?
2. As I am working for last 6 months, I do not have T4 oR NOA - any tax documents in Canada. Would letter from employer and pay slips for last 6 months will work? I can also show good around 30-40K in a Canadian financial institution.
3. I have done flagpole landing last week and got PR. Currently I am waiting for PR card and have stamped COPR document. Can I apply for super visa for my father without PR card (with stamped COPR document)?

Thank you in advance for your help!:)

Hi got Passport request, do I have to send the passport and letter through VFS or can courier directly?
Congrats. For India, i believe you need to go through VFS, ask others but we have only submitted through VFS.

They both dont have any complicated medical history. Anyone in the same boat as my dad's application?

Question: I want to apply for my mums super visa. She is a widow and lives with her in laws. How do I show close ties to home country. She doesnt work full time nor does she have any assets in her name

I got Pr card just week before n landed in December 2018. I like to apply supervisa for my dad only. Mom cannot come due to some social responsibility. Is it ok if we apply for him only ? N is it the right time to apply or still advice need to wait for some more time ?

Hi there,

I'm planning to apply for supervisa for my parents in the next coming months. Do my father need to show bank statements? If yes, how much that would be? Is it important?

Secondly, please guide if we don't have strong country ties like all of siblings are married and he is retired. I applied for visitor visa last year but they rejected due to the reason that they will not come back to their home country eventhough they showed more than enough bank statment along with property documents, departure ticket and iteniary. Please advise what can I do else this time?

Application date: March 08, 2018

Passport request: March 16, 2018
Applicant country: India

My documents included: NOA, employment letter, bank statement (3 months), invitation letter (incl. signed promise of financial support), purpose of travel, last 4 pay-stubs, medical insurance (1 year), birth certificate, copy of PR card.

What did you use as purpose of travel? just a letter stating why your parents were coming or did you have to provide return flights?

How much minimum balance I need to show ( in Canada account,) and parents account ( in India ) for super visa ?
