Only air India emirates & air canada allowed to travel ?

While I went to book my flight, I prefer British airways, but my travel agent told me that Indians are allowed to travel only on Air India, Air Canada , or Emirates to Toronto

Is this true ??

No that's not true it's up to you to choose any flight for your travel. Don't trust the agent for everything.

Some people are advising to chose direct flight from India to canada since every haulting country has their own covid regulations and when you transit through multiple countries or cities, it may lead to problems. Also, they may shut down flights overnight. What is the scenario?? I prefer to travel through ba since it's relatively cheaper now.

Due to Air Bubble Agreement only Air India & Air Canada can fly you to Canada, not even Emirates are allowed.
