Online Visa Application.. Help Needed Urgently

I applied online for a study permit on the 3rd of October, 2014. I immediately got 3 notifications telling me my application has been submitted and collected, and also to go for Biometrics (I'm Nigerian, but I don't think online application is subject to the processing time on CIC website, not sure though), I submitted my Biometrics October 5th, and my profile was updated (that my biometrics has been received) the same day.
So started the waiting game, checked my application a lot, because I read that online application was faster. But no update was made. I then got an update on the 3rd of december that my medical results were being reviewed(i submitted my medical results along with my application) , but nothing else has been sent to me up till now. Is there anyone who has any form of experience concerning this?
I would very much love to hear from you. I am to resume on the 5th of January, 2015 (Concordia university, montreal Quebec)... But i'm still waiting, and honestly, its so nerve racking....

Don't you worry. Be optimistic, you will get your visa stamped.

Did you give them a call or mail them to check your status? At which VAC did you file your application?

I pray so. I haven't called or mailed them, Dunno how to go about that. I applied online, did not file my application with any VAC or VFS.

I can understand your state of mind. I applied mine on 28th of Nov 2014 and Iam still peeping in to chk my inbox every hour even though I know very well that my mobile would beep when I get a new mail.. Where did you apply? I mean where exactly in Nigeria please if you don't mind? I shall browse and see if I could find something pal.

Got this info from a website.

As of May 5, 2014, the Visa Section of the Deputy High Commission of Canada in Lagos, Nigeria, will accept visa applications submitted online or through the Visa Application Centre (VAC) in Lagos.

Send them an email to lagos.immigration@international.gc.ca

Did u get any updation Esha Sri....i too applied online on 28th but m waiting till now.the visa officer asked me to upload my educationl documnts on 5th dec but m able to do this ...i hv already mailed them twice but they havn't responded me til nw...plz help me...!!! Wat shud i do nw

They posted on their site that they would be doing system maintenance on the 17th of december and that various applications or services won't be available. So I believe that could be what's causing your account to be blocked at the moment. So just wait a bit and try again later.
