Hello everyone!

I have a very confusing question...

I am currently holding a valid SINGLE-ENTRY TRV expired on June 30, 2013. Since I just got my 3-year PGWP, I applied for a new MULTIPLE TRV online a while ago. I have received a letter asking me to send my passport before mid April.

However, I need to go back home now - which leaves me no time to send the passport off to CPP. I wonder if I can just come back to Canada with my signle-entry vsia. And then, send my passport off for the new TRV when I am back in 2 weeks.

When the letter of the online TRV is sent out, does it imply that the old one will be automatically CANCELLED WITHOUT PREJUDICE?

I don't think you will be allowed to board the airplane by the airline. The airline will want to see that you have a valid visa in your passport. However you have already used your single entry visa (if I understand correct).

Thank you for your reply. I applied for the single-entry one when I was in Canada - so no: my single entry visa is still valid.

Hi MUSHROOMROOM

I'm on Work Permit in Canada.
I would like to apply for TRV from Canada.
Could you send me the link and procedure to apply online for TRV.
Also what all documents and forms are needed to be uploaded.

Thanks

It is all on the website, i.e. MYCIC

Then you should be fine.
