As of June 6, 2023 ALL applications to renew a PR Card MUST include at least 2 pieces of `evidence'.
I suggest that one of those is banking statements (only a couple) showing `active' activity in the area where the PR is residing. Examples woud be local ATM activity, restaurants, local merchants, etc., versus shopping online, or a recurring membership. This helps to prove that the PR is in fact where they say they are, as shown in the Travel History section of the application.

Should I send a webform regarding this? Because I don’t have any idea that I need to provide such evidence. My dad and sister however send in their applications on April 24th. Do they still need to submit proof?

Hello Everyone,
I submitted my PR renewal application online on 11th July 2023. I did not get any AOR for the same.
Yesterday (15th September 2023) when I logged in into PR portal i see under the return section it is mentioned as incomplete application however in the action section the view button is greyed out.
reading the previous posts I am hoping it will be a technical glitch. But wanted to check if anyone had faced the similar issue in these months and if anyone can suggest the next set of action. Do we need to call cic and check or submit a webform or submit a new application again? Please advise

When they returned it the second time, they specified they had a problem with the picture. Went to get them taken again and got the photos emailed to me from the photographer this time. Resubmitted on June 14th, 2023 (online) and still says "submitted" to this date. Did you resend it? Have you heard anything back yet?

Hello, just a quick update on my PR Card. I initially submitted it around April, thru the portal. June 21st it was returned due to “incomplete application”. I opened my application, similar to most of you I only daw the consent/declaration on red, my mistake was I didn’t checked the photo section, I just sign the consent again and resubmit.
On the other hand. I have helped in my dad and sister’s renewal too, again, it was returned. This time I got the chance to check the photo section and lo and behold there was an error and that is mainly the reason they returned all our applicatio. Upon knowing this, I just accepted the fact that tjey might return my application again,however my dad and sister reapply through paper around July 31st and received their PR card on Sept. 8. When I checked the portal around august 21st (2months after it was returned and resubmitted) it still says “submitted” but now the return reason is indicated as “incomplete application” but the view my application button is greyed out. I thought it was just a glitch on the system as I didn’t received ang prior communication from IRCC or AOR. To my surprise, my PR card just came in the mail around 1st week of september. So I guess it really depends on the agent assigned to you. But it could happened that they might not send any email regarding your application. And just send the card right away.

Did you get your pr card? Did you have to do anything?

Hi, I was wondering if you can answer my question. My family's application for pr-renewal was submitted on Nov 2023, but she hasn't received any confirmation or email so far, Today she checked her PR portal and there was a message that the application was incomplete and returned because the primary identification was not provided, incomplete application. She is outside of Canada with a Canadian spouse and she came to Canada and submitted her application inside of Canada. She is asking if re-submitting needs to be in Canada again. She submitted a valid PR card, a valid copy of her passport, and Two valid identification. Her driver's license and her BC card. There are no details of the reason indicated. Your advice and help will be appreciated.

The best way is to reach out to IRCC over the phone. You can try to call them at different times of the day if you can not get through at a certain time. Sometimes the message on the pr portal is different than the actual status.
Also ask them for your application number and link it to your ircc account. That would give an accurate status of your application. You can track your application from there. You'd be able to upload any additional document that they ask for.
