how does it goand what does it take?

I think it depends on what you are wanting to study and from what university you want to take it from. Not all universities in Canada have online degree programs. Before you start make sure your program is accredited and recognized though, that is very important.

Check out this link. They offer a full on-line degree. It's the only Canadian University I found that offers this.
