Hello friends. My wife submitted her Online Citizenship test on March 1st and today we received fingerprint request for her for the second time.. So does that mean her test results were officially accepted. Btw she scored 19/20 but she forgot to take her PR card picture before the test. But later she sent her PR card through webform. Its strange that her fingerprint request came from IRCC Vancouver. Our visa office is Scarborough. Please advise. Thank you.

I have the same issue that I uploaded my own photo instead of the PR card photo during the citizenship test. Couple of questions
1. Did you send the PR card via webform on request or on your own. Which link did you use
2. DId your Citizenship test status change?

We had our citizenship test in Jan. 22nd. In our account it says all steps are now ok but we still haven’t received the oath invite. Any idea please? I tried calling IRCC, no one answers. Thanks a lot

You won't receive the email until about a week before the ceremony.

That's normal. My status showed the scheduled ceremony on May 31st (for July 9th) and I didn't received the email until yesterday.

Could you please provide the "Decision Made" date on ECAS? Also, post an update once you receive the oath invitation email.

For all of you guys who have already passed and studied for the citizenship online test, do we need to memorize all the names and dates? Does the actual test examines this knowledge ? There are so many !!!

Yes names are there and years are there. Only the current political names are not coming.
It takes time to know. For me, i was studying like part time hence it was confusing for the first week. it became clear and memorized in the second week. So take your time to study. it depends on how focused you are and how much time you spend and your memory power too . But its easy. Take the online practice test which will make you memorize the names and years for you once you give repeated tests.

Dont be in hurry and get tempted to give exam as we have some superfast guys who can give exam in 1-3 days but dont risk it to compete with them as we waited for long time for test.
Another reason not to be in hurry is that, we get difficult question set for few of us. For me i got one indepth/confusing question. My wife got 4 questions like that. So if you get a difficult set then it will be difficult to pass if you dont study well.

Yes mostly from that site and few other sites. Read the book and then use just 2-3 sites to practice and give the test.

Hi All - Anyone here who applied using a representative (lawyer)? How does the 'Email me the test Link' process works?
In the question "Would you like to update your email?", if I select "Yes, I want to use my email address (new email)....how soon will the update take place?
Will I get the test link on my personal email right away? Also, will this email update be permanent or just valid for the sake of this test?

I am asking because on the CIC website it says the following -
"
If you change your email after you receive the invitation

• it will take time for us to update your email (we can’t provide an accurate timeline)
• we cannot guarantee the test link will go to your new email (check your previous email address)

"

I would say, please read the book as much you can and practice different online platform. The questions were tricky for me
