Finally, Immigration Canada posted an update about taking the citizenship test online. Great news for everyone!

Lets use this thread if someone receives invite for the test so that we know the dates of test and month-year of the application being served.
Sharing this information will help during the initial period and it will help to assess when they start and what volumes they start with.

It doesn't say anything about interview after test. Are they waiving off the interview after test?

Its difficult to say as interview also contains checking of original documents. Everything is uncertain at the moment.

Once you submit the test, the result page will immediately display your score. You need to get at least 15 out of 20 questions correct to pass the test.

• not your official test result

In the upcoming months, we’ll

• review and confirm your official test result
• contact you with your next steps

After the test
If you pass the test
You may have to do an interview with a citizenship officer.

• If you do, we’ll contact and schedule you for an interview.
• If you do not have to do an interview, please wait for us to invite you to your citizenship ceremony.

Seems they already have the process defined hence no confusion as per the steps given.

They just linked it to regular pre-covid interview page. That's it. Most of pre-covid interviews were anyway just formal way of conveying the results anyway.
