Online citizenship test completed, waiting for next steps

Hey folks, got my oath invite scheduled for April 5th! So happy!!! What's the process after the oath ceremony? Will I be sent the citizenship certificate via postal mail? Would anyone know the time lines to get it? The only reason I'm asking is, I know we'll have to snap our PR cards during the ceremony and I'm traveling on April 14th and I will need to wait for the certificate to apply for the passport. So if I travel I won't have the PR card or the passport to return back to Canada. Thanks!

a friend of mine did oath (Etobicoke) recently and got the certificate within one week even though during the oath and in the official communication that it would have taken 2 - 4 weeks

hey everyone, when putting date, please put the year as well. In future when we are looking back, it will be difficult to put things into context since the year may have changed and especially since it seems like there is a 2 year processing time for citizenship

Congrats...make sure to sign the form sent within the 2 days specified so they can send ur citizenship cert ASAP

I'm tired of checking...and then tired of the disappointment of seeing no changes....I passed the citizenship test Jun 26, 2021 and got the e-mail confirmation. Since then no updates...well in the tracker I see last updated Nov. 17, 2021 however, no visible changes I can see and IRCC can't tell me what the update on Nov. 17th is about...sigh

For me it was my drivers licence and PR. Any government issued ID that has your photo in it should be good

I lost my PR card so hopefully they accept my deal and my nexus card.

test in December too, everything changed to green , except the oath, around Jan 11th, I received my oath invite about a week ago, and the paperwork last night for the process and seat number last night

Is this an online oath ceremony or a physical one? Did they give you some different dates to choose? Thanks.

Same it's so frustrating. I don't know why they still accepting new applications. Why not just clear the backlog and then start accepting new applications it's crazy.
