No, they dont record the screen or control it. However I've read that the application can detect if multiple tabs are open and then it will send a warning on your screen and instruction to fix it.

More on that here, read under unusual activities : https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/canadian-citizenship/become-canadian-citizen/citizenship-test/before.html
Yes you are right. Thanks for your answer. The reason is, when PMP exam shifted to online portal, people took that exam using work computer and they had so many problems as PMI actually monitors screen and thinks users are running a blocker to cheat in the exam whereas it was some process running in the background that even users were not aware of. They told us its better to either book for test center exam or use personal computer. There are so many hidden securities on your work laptops. Anyway, for this I hope it will work out well for all of us. Thanks and good luck for your oath :)

Hello members,

Just wanted to check if anyone heard from CIC on next steps after giving their online citizenship test? I gave mine yesterday and received the standard automated email with my test score.

Any data point on next steps after the online test and the time taken for next steps would be highly appreciated.

Thanks
@raoulshrma How long it took you to receive the official results by email after you took the test ?

Hey friends , need your suggestion . My application is with CIC Montreal. I did my Citizenship test in Jan and passed it. In interview the officer said ill get my oath in 3 months but then covid came in and everything delayed. Now recently, I ordered my gcms notes and i saw everything is good but two things i do not understand.

1) Under paper file , my file says location :Box- Transfer CEN (what does that mean ? )
2)Officer Note : This case is expected to be outside 12 months processing standard , applicationon queue to be analysed - file referred to cen

i sent an email to CIC , they said they verified the info and said my file is still in process.

I do not understand , everything is good ,knowledge ,criminality all passed.

Should i move to Ontario and expect my file could be processed quicker ?

Dont bother moving to Ontario, I've been waiting since November 2019 just for the interview and then the Oath. Now no interview's required but I am still waiting for Oath invite and my application still shows in process. I've been in Canada since 1998 when I married my husband. No criminal record, only traveling to the USA, yet here I am, still waiting.
