Another 3-4 months

Sorry bud but unfortunately that’s the Timeline. Even for my Oath I had to wait precisely 3 months.

I need to send copies of my passports and ID to the processing centre. I scan them (2 passports, and 1 ID), should i combine them to 3 files, or 3 files in one document? Thanks.

Just wondering but did many individuals NOT send copies of their passports etc with the initial documentation? I only ask as that was something I sent in colour (every page of both passports) with my initial application

Here is my projection based on the limited data so far. Assumption, IRCC takes 2 weeks to process applications received in a 1 week period. (This is somewhat a optimistic estimate since what i've seen so far is currently after 3 weeks they are still on 1 week worth of application....I REALLY HOPE THIS PROJECTION IS WRONG!!!!

I think the situation is worse than you imagine. According to those typical announcements, my "normal application" was "finalized" something 6 months ago. And was it? Nope. I think 2020 and 2021 people are OK. But 2019 ones are mostly forgotten.

This only became a requirement on June 16, 2021. Those who applied before that only submitted the biodata pages of their passports.

I completed my online citizenship test in the end of November 2021. I still have not received an update of "completed" , It still says in progress. Should I call them ? Has anyone else had such a delay after their online test ?

Hi all,

I've completed the citizenship test on August 7th and was waiting for the rest of the statuses on my application to change to Complete and get the Oath Invitation. However, I got an email today scheduling a citizenship interview with an officer next week (October 28, 2021). I'm not sure what they will ask in this "interview".

My only concern is that the instructions point out that I should have all the original documents from the application with me. But since I'm not in Canada right now, I don't have two of them: the IELTS certificate and a Certificate of Change of Name. I sent them an email asking if that would be a problem, but there is a chance of not hearing back from them before the actual meeting next week.

Has anyone done this interview? What is it about?

Can u please share your experience about interview, what did they ask, how long will it take ? Focus on which place or concern ??
