Online citizenship test completed, waiting for next steps

Hi just wanted to confirm something with you guys. So OAT ceremony usually takes place 3 to 4 months from your Test date. Which means if one finishes test on July 23 mostly likely once DM is made on Ecas we can heard from them within the coming weeks for the date?

Don’t worry about the PR card getting expired. If you are not travelling in coming months then you don’t have to worry. An expired PR card doesn’t mean you will lose Permanent residency. My card expire 1 year ago, and my citizenship is still in process.

I know it'd been a long time but did you get your citizenship?

I know it's 3-4 months from decision made, not from the test. I finished my test 6 months ago, and still waiting for the oath (not started).

Received oath invite for March 2022. Scarborough office.

Jan 2021 applicant with test completed in July and passport request in August..

When did you receive the oath invitation? I mean date

Yup, 7 months since I passed the test / DM.

Still waiting on the oath.

I took the test on August 7, 2021. The status was set to Completed a few days after. I got the interview invite via email on October 22, 2021. It means that it took slightly less than 3 months. Hopefully, it won't take that long to get the Oath invite after the interview.

The only statuses that are Completed in the system are the Background Verification and the Citizenship Test. Everything else is Pending and Not Started.

I’m an April 2019 applicant. Scarborough office. I have done my test on July 17th and the test status changed to Completed on July 19th. Received a passport copies request on Sept. 1st and mailed them the papers on Sept. 8th. Nothing since then. Anyone in the same boat or can provide an insight on timelines?

No. They haven't asked for passport copies. In theory, I've already attached copies of all the pages when I submitted the application.
