Did u done your test and Passport request ?

Yes I did my Test long ago mate. I didn’t get any Passport Request. My ECAS was updated to Decision Made on July 27th 2021 & Also in the Tracker everything else was updated to Completed just Citizenship Ceremony - Not started yet. Both ECAS and Tracker were updated on 27th July 2021.

Hi, I just got the request to submit the passport copies, same for my wife…..can anybody please advise if we can send the copies in one postal envelope

Does it specifically say that you have to send by post? I got the request along with the email for citizenship test. The email clearly said to send electronic copies by email - separate email for me and my wife as the subject of the email needs to b Application number + Name. They also asked for certfied translation of any visas / stamps that are not in English / French.

Get it done. It's not necessary but people do get it done to avoid giving any reason for an excuse to IRCC.

Thanks for your quick reply but sorry to ask one more question for clarification. How do you know that people get it done ? Did u read anywhere or have any friends and family experience ?

hey guys since jul 8 i was waiting for citizenship ceremony, anything else was completed. last update was in july 8. i checked 5min ago and now its says

Updated:September 27, 2021 but everythings same, no emails so far. any ideas whats going on?

Hi, I'm going to take my test tomorrow. While going through the test instructions, I read that I shouldn't keep any tabs open while doing the test. However, I might be keeping the instruction letter PDF and the website containing detailed information about the sign in process (link given in PDF) open while completing the procedure prior to starting the actual test just to have a reference. Once I'm done with the procedure and about to start the test, I'll closing the extra tabs. So would that be okay?

Folks something really weird just happened... 10 weeks ago, my profile was updated with an oath date for March 2022. However, I log in today, and that update line item has disappeared. Instead it just says oath in progress. All other items completed and DM on old ECAS portal. Anyone witnessed this or heard about it?

Hi, I want to give an update that I completed my test and scored 20/20. However, I'm a bit worried about the picture of my drivers license as it was blurry. Some of the biographical information like date of birth was not properly visible though I suppose my name and license number was somewhat visible.

Also, I went out of my room in order to call my lawyer in the middle of taking a picture of my id (after many failed attempts) as my cellphone was in another room. But it was prior to starting the actual test.

So considering these things, I want to ask what are my chances of getting my test. Also how long will it take to surely know that IRCC has approved my test?

Stepping out to call the lawyer wont have been a problem as long as it was not during the test... However, if your picture was extremely blurred, you might need to take a retest. Note - EXTREMELY blurred. Some sections of my driver's license were also blurred - but the photo, name, DOB etc were clear so i didn't face any issue. Good luck

You'll find responses ranging from as less as a month, to as much as 4 months+++++++..... All depends on case to case and officer to officer.. good luck and hope yours comes soon
