25 pages out of 80 pages were withheld from my GCMS. All "Protected B"
Rule 15(1)

Rule: 16(1)(c)

Rule:16(2)(c)

The entire content of the GCMS notes is Protected-B AFAIK. The "rules" you are quoting has nothing to do with Protected-B IMO. Those sections quoted are from the Privacy Act (They have redacted the information in your GCMS notes based on the sections of the law they've mentioned).

According to the "Access To Information Act" I hired a lawyer anyhow to take care of that. Ircc should finalize the application.

Hello everyone.
Sent Citizenship Application on 31st July 2019.
Application Received on November 12th 2019.
A.O.R. sent on January 28th 2020.
Started Processing Application on February 11th 2020.
June 9th 2021 Received the Invite for the Online Test.
June 22nd 2021 Passed the Test got 20 out of 20 & Received the email as well.
June 23rd 2021 Tracker updated to Test Completed ✅ & Background Check Completed ☑.
August 9th 2021 I checked the ECAS it says Decision Made.

Time for my questions now :-

1. What does Decision Made means?
2. An approximate idea of how much time it will take to get the Oath Invite?
3. I live in North Vancouver. Sorry don’t know which Office is processing my Application. Anybody else here from North Van ?
4. Last but not the least Decision Made in most cases means Positive development?
Thanks everyone in advance. Hoping to hear from you guys soon .

Hey everyone, I passed my citizenship test two weeks ago and haven't received any updates since. My question is- will we get an interview request as a normal part of the application or would we just move to decision made and oath ceremony. Thanks!

1. It means a decision has been made on your application. That is, your application has been approved.

2. Varies. Expect at least 2 months from the DM date for oath notification on the dashboard.

3. Not sure. Should be Vancouver office but someone else can answer this.

4. In almost all cases, it means the application is approved.

Depends on the officer. Some people receive an interview invitation and some don't. Lately, not many people have been receiving an interview request so it is kind of likely that you won't receive one.

Any Montreal applicant here in this thread waiting for Oath innovation & ceremony? I have completed test on July 2nd, decision made on ECAS on July 16, but nothing for oath ceremony. Anyone in same boat ?

I'm from Montreal as well. I did my test 3 months ago and still haven't gotten DM but as far as I know invitations to oath ceremony for Montrealers are rare these days.

Your file updated quickly after the test from the Montreal office. When did you apply for citizenship? and is your file urgent?

Same here. Did the test more than 3 months ago. Dead silence since then from the Montreal office. I wonder if we will wait another 12 months to get our oath
