Hello,

My wife just got an email for an interview along with some documentation submission.

Both, my wife and I, are not in Canada at the moment. Does she have to be in Canada for the interview?

Hi guys I got my interview for end of next month.I did my test this Sunday.

my expired passport is not with me here do I have to have that with me during interview and secondly my driving license change from Ontario to Alberta as I moved here. When I changed my driving license to Alberta they took my Ontario G license and give class 5 Alberta license. My current passport is still valid for 3 more years.

Okay, I promise this will be the last question. So when you checked your application status after completing your exam, you didn't see any status update that read "We sent you an invitation to take an online citizenship test on April 2021", or something along those lines? And am I correct in assuming that there was no update to your citizenship application status until you reached the DM stage?

I've honestly stopped checking ECAS personally, mine hasn't updated from "We started processing your application in November 2019"

I passed the test last week, followed all of their guidelines so I'm not worried, I'll just wait for the oath email now. It's very easy to get worried about timelines because this has been such a long process from PR to citizenship but COVID has slowed everything down (not just this) globally.

Patience is key now, we have all done exactly as was requested up to now, it's been a long road for all of us but this is the final stretch now :)

I just received an invite for interview. I took and passed the test on february 24th, 2021 and was requested to submit passport pages on march 16th ,2021. They received my passport pages on March 31st, 2021.
I am in Regina, SK.

Did the email come from Regina office?

We’re currently finalizing most applications we received between

April 14 and 20, 2019 ?

If your application is complex, it may take us longer to process it.

18 to 24 months so sit back and relax

Guys..

Did anyone receive a call for interview from the Mississauga office for scheduling interview and document requests recently ?
