I called Thursday at 11amHow did you get through to IRCC? Every time I've called in the last two months, I couldn't get through. I filled out their web form too and no response. What day/time did you try?

Did you submit a webform? Please keep me posted as to your progress. I have emailed the Ottawa office but no response as of yet.I did my test on the 5th October and passed. However, I'm still seeing that they are waiting on me to do the test. I contacted IRCC who said its a bit strange and they'll be forwarding a note to my case processing office(Mississauga). Hope I get a positive response soon!
I don't think that there is an issue with the photo but my internet did drop for a few seconds but I was able to continue - maybe that is the issue. I will post here when I find out what is happening.I remembered when I did my test because I didn't take my photo ID correctly 2 weeks after they contacted me to do a retake of the test (as I was in same boat as you nothing was being updated my husband did his same day and next day his was updated so I knew right away something was wrong) and after I did the retake they updated my test status on Tracker to completed within 2 days. So hopefully you hear from them soon.
I only called. Yup, I'll let you know on feedbackDid you submit a webform? Please keep me posted as to your progress. I have emailed the Ottawa office but no response as of yet.
The email gets sent only if you select that option once you get to test submission confirmation screen. There is a button that you can choose to click on if you want the test score to be emailed.Did you guys receive an email with the test results after completing the test?
How long did the interview last? For those who are curious about my interview yesterday (Calgary office):
The interview went well. The immigration officer asked to see my passport and IDs (Driver's license and PR card). She checked all the passport pages (visas and stamps). I was not asked to submit my passport pages because I submitted all the pages when I sent the application the first time. So, she just compared all the pages that she had in copy with what I was showing to her (since I'm outside of Canada, my passport had an extra stamp).
After checking the documents, she asked if I had the original copy of my IELTS certificate and I said that this document was in Canada. She said that it was okay. Then, she said that everything was fine and she was going to approve everything in the system and the statuses would be set to Completed in a few days, and I would be queued for the Oath Ceremony. She highlighted that the invitation for the Oath ceremony can take 1 to 3 months (I think it might take even more than 3 months, but that was what she said).
She said that they are swamped because of Covid and backlogs, and are even working on Saturdays (which is true, she replied to an email to me on Saturday). Since I’m outside of Canada, it will be better if it takes at least three months because I’ll be back only in January 2022. If I get an invitation before going back, she said that should reply to the email and ask them to postpone it (it’s a different department that schedules the Oath Ceremonies). She recommended doing that because she said that if I ask to take the Oath Ceremony outside of Canada, it will take much longer to get the invite as it makes the logistics to mail the certificate more complicated.
I checked the system today (one day after the interview) and all the statuses are set to Completed, except the Oath Ceremony.
I hope this information helps someone.
You need either a visa or PR card or travel doc or CA passport to be able to get back to Canada from where ever you are. Your current passport from another nation is only a concern for entering there.Hello Everyone, I really need some quick assistance, I’ve an oath ceremony on 25th Nov and next day I’ve to travel…..my question is I’m I eligible to travel with my current passport and come back, thanks
Do they send the certificate overseas, though? It's possible, but I am sure IRCC willing to go this extra mile. You need either a visa or PR card or travel doc or CA passport to be able to get back to Canada from where ever you are. Depending on how long you are planning to be outside Canada,
1. is it for a few weeks? - then better to postpone the oath ceremony so you can get back into Canada using your current valid PR card.
2. is it for a longer term, like more than 3 months? - then just complete the ceremony before leaving Canada where they will ask you to destroy your PR card and you can request to get your citz. certificate sent overseas and from where you can apply for a Canadian passport at your local Canadian embassy. Sure this process will take longer time then if you did it in Canada.
Nothing to be concerned ... now just wait it out for oath invite and ceremonyJust saw decision made on ECAS but on new dashboard everything is in progress except test and BG.
had completed test and interview before.
did anyone else had decision made on ecas first and in progress on new application dashboard?
From the conversation below with an IRCC officer, it looks like they can, given genuine circumstances that you may be in, however do expect longer times for getting your certificate and passport overseas.Do they send the certificate overseas, though? Yes, I read that, but there are no other details available. Unless someone ask them in advance and arrange with them, and report back, this scenario will remain hypothetical. As I said, it's possible, but IRCC usually don't send documents overseas. From the conversation below with an IRCC officer, it looks like they can, given genuine circumstances that you may be in, however do expect longer times for getting your certificate and passport overseas.

That is good news. I wouldn't mind if there's any delay to the application if there's a possibility to do it abroad. Saves traveling back and forth.Yes. She said that it could be taken from outside of Canada, but we need to request it, and it will possibly delay the application. She didn't speak in detail about where the certificate would be mailed. In addition to getting the certificate, you would have to apply for a Canadian passport through a Canadian consulate, which possibly will take a lot longer than applying for a passport inside Canada as well.
