I think the office is either in Shanghai or in Beijing.
 
i submitted my visitor visa application online 12 april 2016
biometrics done next days 13 april 2016
visa office islamabad pakistan
i had visited canada and i had multiple visa which was expired in march. i want to visit usa and canada this summer in july. i had have usa valid visa.
online status says open even i have done my biometrics at VFs islamabad , but it still says we dont need it at this stage

this online process will take time but you just plan your trip, you will get the visa for sure (100%)

Der have to update in database (Application data)
 
I applied supevisa for my grandmother on april 7 , only thing saying medical passed , file still nothing else.
 
Can everyone who posts also mention which country they are applying from and their current nationality. Clearly there is a discord from visa office to office.

Has anybody applied through VFS Dubai or Abu Dhabi Canadian Embassy?

I have applied my TRV appplication (paper) through VFS Dubai and have'nt heard anything yet.

Applied on 11th April 2016
Processing Time mentioned on CIC Website is 19 days.

Please advise as my wife is expecting to deliver the baby anytime soon. I should be in Canada at this time.

What should I do?

I have applied my TRV appplication (paper) through VFS Muscat and have'nt heard anything yet.

Applied on 24th April 2016.

Processing Time mentioned on CIC Website is 19 days.

Till date I have not received any updates from CIC.
 
I applied online from South India - 05th April 2016
on 29th April I received a request for family information form. Surprised, as I had already sent it earlier. I also got a call from the embassy in Delhi asking for the same. Informed them that I had already uploaded it again as per their request.

After that, there is no update and still waiting ....

I applied for my mother online still stating Open. Thats it nothing happenng.

Even I applied from south India - 13 April 2016, I have not seen any updates on my application.

Did you contact CIC or anyone with regard to your application.

Hi Guys,

I applied 2 visitor visa applications online, one for my mother and another for my mother-in-law on Apr 23rd, 2016.Both visa got approved and for one application I got reply to submit passport on friday and for another application I got passport request today. So hope everyone will get their applications approved soon.

Status: After passed medical, application is still open. ??? ??? ???
 
Here is my timeline -

Applied for Mom Dad on 31st March, with intention of staying here for 15 days as my. Dad had only 15 days of approved leave

April 20th - sent email to withdraw application
April 23rd - another email to withdraw

4 more follow up emails.

May 9th - My parents got call asking if they are still interested to go and if they are ok tos end passports in

CIC is really unpredictable
 
Hi guys, I applied my TRV inside Canada online on April,1st,2016. Its been 39 days that I did not get a response yet. I have study permit till 2018 and passport validity till 2020. I called them several time and they keep me telling to wait. I am going through the most stressful time of my life.
