I sent my Passport September 03 (Wed)
Passport DELIVERED on September 04 (Thurs)
Received update on MyCIC regarding Approval of Visa on September 07 (Sun)
Received my Passport through Aramex on September 08 (Mon)

Hi Wacks. Upon Approval of Visa they will send you POE (Permit of Entry) Letter via myCIC. It will indicate the validity of the permit. It did not say when I should be in Canada, I guess you can travel anytime within the valid period of the visa. But then again your employer would want you to be there already since you have the visa. For my case, I will be flying directly from Dammam to Halifax the soonest. I resigned with only 13 days notice. See you there soon.

I hope that who ever views this thread can learn from our experience. Feel free to share your timelines and experience, both good and bad, so that others may have the knowledge in filing their applications Online via Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

I realized that online applications is hassle free and better compared with VFS based on the feedback from other friends who did their application manually. The most difficult part of the process will only be the waiting stage.

Tomorrow is my due for filing of end of contract as 3 months notice but since i have a lot of accumulated leave instead n gang dec. 15 p ako bka mapaaga. I am planning to leave on oct. 31.

All of these documents were submitted in my case.
HS Diploma and TOR to show my secondary school records.
Philippine NBI Clearance will show no criminal record in the Philippines.
Saudi Police Clearance will show no criminal record here in KSA.

Hope you are enjoying the new place, Ive been there when i was still working from CruiseLine..Ive noticed from your timeline you skip for the medical request? Its been 27th day since my application sent online, still no update. Any idea how long maximum it will take before i receive my request for medical?
