Humdrumdum: Aba teka pwede mainggit sa bilis ng medical request mo ah... Isang linggo ka lang naghintay samantalang ako inabot ng 3 buwan! Hahaha! Congratulations. Ang galing! Minsan pala the late bird catches the worm..

Ang saya iquote! Haha oo nga ang bilis. Nakaka jelly. Hehe pansin ko bumibilis na processing ng Pinas dahil bago na rin ang CVAC. Pansin ko nga, nung nareceive ni DocRZ med request niya after a week naman ung sakin wherein 1 month nauna sakin DocRz magapply. Katuwa! Hehe

Anyway, tapos na po ako sa Medicals. I had it sa SLMC global. Ang ganda dun ah! Also, 10 lng kami ngpapamed. Half day lng tapos ka na, very approachable pa mga peeps. I asked them if pwede masend agad result sa Embassy, sabi nila if wala prob with the result utmost 3 days ko daw hintayin pero regular waiting time sa kanila is 7-10 days lang. Urinalysis may result na agad, pinakita sakin. hehe Habol mo pa humdrum!

Girl din ako, buti nlng di pa inabutan. Bukas sana meron na. Hehe

msladybug, crazy, isn't it? Kaya naman pala ng 1 week, bakit kailangan patagalin pa ng ilang buwan. Buti na lang nauna ako makatanggap ng medical request sa'yo humdrumdum, otherwise magwawala talaga ako. Hahaha! Good luck sa ating lahat! We're almost there...

@Msladybug, ask ko lang po kung may physical exam po? Lady doctor ba mag exam sa tin mga babae? Madame po ba fill up forms pa pagdating dun sa st lukes? Or yun hawak lang natin galing embassy? Senxia na po dame ask ko, baka sa august 13 pa ko ma medical kase meron ako period pa, balak ko sana sa IOM kase tumawag ako kanina dun sabe nila right away diretso na medical result sa CIC ,isip ko kase online application kaya mabilis, salamat ulit sa time and syempre goodluck sa ating application, sana visa na lahat

@ humdrumdum & minsky: Oh yeah, forgot to mention. If SLMC Global ka, be prepared for the physical girl. It's a whole body exam. Pero nothing much to worry naman kasi lady doctor and madalian lang. Silip silip. Hehe Medyo nahiya ako kasi you'll expose your little YOU but only for a second. Hehe Aside from the med request form from the embassy, you'll fill-up 3-5 pages galing St. Luke's pero mostly check-list lang naman and mga siggys. May HIV-testing pala. Bring 4 passport-size pictures (5 sa IOM) & 2 photocopies of your passport. P5,250 ang fee.

@ DocRz: Oo nga e, kung nauna pa kami sayo welga ka at pasabugin embassy. Hehe pero buti nlng in proper order tayo. Sobrang bilis ni Humdrum noh? D makamove-on hehe

Nakachamba lang po sa timing! Haha Kala ko talaga wala na rin akong pag-asa but my mom kept on pushing that I should still try kahit na kapos na kapos na sa oras. Naroblema pa nga ako sa NBI kasi nagka-hit ako, buti umabot pa ng sakto haha Aabot tayong lahat!! ;D

@msladybug: Ohhhh, sounds like sa SLMC rin po ako magtatake, since walk-in. Anong oras po kayo pumunta doon? Slowly conditioning my mind regarding that portion, it's part of the process! HAHA Napraning pa ako sa passport kasi hindi ko napa-photocopy yung back page, as specified dun sa website. I'll just bring extra ID's. thanks for the info!

@minsky: if you're in Manila or Cebu po, would suggest trying out paper-based application and submitting it personally to the CVAC just as I did Syempre case-to-case basis po, if complete naman po yung application niyo kaya ng mabilis hehe

Di pa po sis. Nag iipon pa ng pang show money. Target namin eh Jan or Sept 2014 intake for my hubs, TRV/OWP for me and the kids. *crossing fingers*. Not yet sure if online or paper-based, though mukhang mas mabilis ang paper-based recently from what I've been reading. Convenient ang online though. Haha!

Oh I thought online application ka humdrum, si minsky pala online. Nalito ako. Hehe Yes, more convenient tlga online but I kind of regret using it kasi mas mabilis paper-based dito sa pinas. But I'm still grateful even though delayed, aabot pa din naman.

Wow ang bilis nga! Just called them too since I was hoping to take my med exam on Friday, closed pala daw sila on Fridays so looks like for Monday talaga ako...

@msladybug: ask ko lang po what time po kayo pumila sa SLMC? I do think CEM will respond quite fast, specially for us na for September intake

Congrats msladybug! I also called IOM but my results are still in their office. Hopefully, they can forward it by tomorrow since Friday is an official holiday.

Guys, this is so sudden! At 7pm, I just received an email from CIC informing me that I have a message in MyCIC account. CEM is requesting for my original passport!!!!

I actually cried... Sa tuwa at sa lungkot na possibleng makakaalis na nga. Hehe

Ang saya-saya!!! Congratulations!!! On the same day that they received your medicals, they gave you a decision. I'm calling IOM again tomorrow upon their instruction to inquire again on my status. Sana pareho mangyari sa files natin na upon receiving the medicals, decision agad! This calls for a celebration!
