Hi DocRz, everyone! Been busy. Ala pa din medical request nor reply from CEM. I emailed them last Wednesday via case-specific inquiry. Have you had you medicals DocRz?

Hi msladybug! Nakakalungkot na wala pa rin akong request for medical. Medyo mamalasin pa tayo kasi total work stoppage ang visa processing sa embassy starting Monday kasi hindi pa rin nakikipagnegotiate ang Canadian Government sa PAFSO. Sana hindi member ng PAFSO at hindi makisali sa strike and mga Pilipinong visa officers para at least may konting pag-asa na umusad ang mga application natin.

Salamat msladybug!!! Susunod na ang medical request mo! Baka mas masisipag ang mga Pinoy visa officers pag wala ang mga bossing nilang puti... I'll have my medicals on Friday sa IOM Clinic sa Legaspi Village. Mas mabilis kasi silang magforward ng results. 7-10 days lang daw while sa St. Luke's 30 days. Papakiusapan ko rin iprioritize iforward ang results ko kasi urgent talaga. Doon ka na rin magpaschedule kapag dumating na ang request mo. Konting kapit pa! Mapagtatagumpayan natin 'to.

Nope, I didn't. I just provided a referral letter signed by my sponsor.

Paper-based Application through CVAC

Just submitted my application at the CVAC in EcoPlaza Pasong Tamo Ext. a while ago. I'm feeling hopeful because the assessor said that may chance daw iprioritize yung application ko if they see na for September intake ako, last week lang kasi dumating yung acceptance letter ko. Had all the docs completely arranged, they didn't even need the photocopies, even if i had a whole set prepared! haha I waited for 30 minutes (4th person in line, surprisingly konti lang ang tao) and my application was screened within 10 minutes. I then received an e-mail from CIC moments later that they have processed my application.

The staff of VFS Canada is super friendly and everything is so organized inside. Wish CIC had implemented this system sooner! hehe Hope is restored for my application, God bless us all!

@ DocRZ: that's where I plan to take my med exam too, if everything works out Please tell us how it goes!
