Online application - "Is someone helping you"

Background:
In the "Contact info" section, one of the questions is "Is someone helping you to fill out this application".
My son offers to help review my application and he wants to make sure I have not made any unintended mistakes on dates, numbers, etc.
Under this scenario he will be helping me, and I will not be paying my son for the review. I will be the main person to complete the application without a representative.

Questions:
1. Am I still be eligible for online application if someone helps me for free?
2. If I say "Yes" to this question even if the help is completely free from a family member, are there any unintended consequences that may delay the application process? I know this sounds like a silly question but I heard situations where RQ can be issued for so many different reasons.

Many thanks in advance!

That question is intended for representatives, immigration consultants, lawyers and the like, as IRCC communicates with them on your application.
Your son having a quick look to make sure you didn't forget something here and there doesn't need to be disclosed. While technically, he helped you during the application, that's not what IRCC is looking for here, so unless you want him to receive all the IRCC communication for you and contact them on your behalf, just apply online and put no for that question and call it a day.
Good luck.
