Online Application for Visitor Visa June 25th to 30th Timeframe

Hi,
I have applied online for a visitor visa on the 29th of June and have only a confirmation letter that the application was received. There has been no news since then. Are there others who have applied in this timeframe and are waiting for the PP request? Please share your timelines.

My case is similar but worse.

I submitted all papers on 24th of June. I haven't gotten anything back.
In the website, they said they normal process time is 21 days. I should have gotten something by yesterday (July 15). I am still positive even though my plan is on Aug 8, and I booked almost everything already.

I will wait for about 3 more days. If I don't get anything back, I will email them.
I think my case is more risk, though. I submitted before you. Also, my travel date will start before.

I haven't gotten anything back yet.

However, I come back here to let you know that my friend who submitted her papers an hour after me got PP request already yesterday.
Is it weird? We will travel together. We both are an au pair from the same country. We both applied online from USA. We've got almost every document the same.

Well, I'm going to send an email to them soon.

Me and wife got confirmation on June 29th and still havent gotten passport request so we were wondering. I wonder why.

I applied online, but not to LA, there is no such choice for online submission. I think the pilot service at Ottawa determines which consulate to process the application based on applicant's location.

I have read many cases where delays have occurred. Looking at my experience, I would say the Canadian VISA process is really good. If your documents are complete, not faulty and you followed the process, there is no unreasonable delay.

I haven't heard anything back so far. Anybody here have a good suggestion? I sent an email to CPP-CTP-OTTAWA-TRV-VRT @ cic.gc.ca already since Jul 24th. I got only an automatic reply message.

Do you have any phone number that I can talk to a real person? I tried to find some in the website, but I didn't get to talk to any real one at all. (Maybe I called or contacted the wrong number.) My English listening skill is not good, though. I usually have a hard time listening to what they want me to do next.

My friend recommended me to call some express visa. Her host mom called there for her after 2 weeks she submitted the papers. That express visa company gave her a number. Then she call that number.

She got a passport request after 2 days.

Finally, I got PP request already. However, I'm still afraid that I can't get it back it time.

Seems like they take a long time to send our passports back. My friend got it back in 5 business days, though. Hopefully, they don't take a long time to process on my passport. Otherwise, I think I can't make it for sure.



Pardusspeaks, I couldn't open the link that you sent your enquiry to. After I dropped my passport at the post office, I realized that I should have enclosed a polite note stating that I'm in a hurry. Well, I was too hurry to think of something else at that time.

Thank GOD for your case. I applied 17th july, got PR on the 18th July, send passport to the london office which was delivered on the 22th JULLY. I have npt head anything yet. its been 9working days since they received pp
