I submitted my profile under NOC skill type A civil engineer. I am a civil engineer and graduated from USA. i also hold a Enginer-in-training license from Bristish Columbia. currently working for a civil and construction company WSP global as a project coordinator. they filled my employer form and put NOC B - Adminstration officer. my points were 74 now with changes its 66 and the draw happened at 62. i still qualify for the nomination but not sure if i should write a letter of explanation and explain the misunderstanding or just decline and wait for another one. my sister lives here so proving families ties is not an issue. I have an amazing job and they have mentioned they hire employees who work for their p.eng and support company.

What OINP stream are you eligible for? You are working in Canada with Canadian education, correct?

Yes I have all the documents I am eligible for International student stream already received my nomination.
Ok you said you were educated in the US, didn’t say you had Canadian education. So your job offer is still valid with what NOC. What is the issue if you still have the points required.

Is this a one year program that only bachelors degree holders can take. A diploma holder can’t take the program. So it was at a university for only degree holders.

This means that in order to be eligible, your one-year program must require a completed degree as an admission requirement. One-year programs are ineligible if they require a degree or a diploma, or “a degree or work experience”, or similar, regardless of whether you personally completed a degree program prior to being accepted into the one-year program.

I picked NOC level type A but the job offer is from NOC B
So your profile is NOC A but job offer is NOC B. Can you update your file?

sorry for asking about the program because many people aren’t eligible with a one year program because completed diploma holders can’t attend your program only degree holders (e.g must be an university program with no admission allowed for college diploma holders). One-year programs are ineligible if they require a degree or a diploma, or “a degree or work experience”, or similar. So assume you went to a university, maybe a masters.
