Hi! I submitted my ONIP application in person (in Toronto) on December 18, 2015, but still haven't received any acknowledgement of receipt or anything of similar matter. How long does it take to get AOR? Should I be worried and is there someone I can contact about the status of my application?
Thanks!

Only thing you can do now is wait...they seem to have a huge backlog so you should not expect an AOR anytime earlier than 8-9 weeks (may be 10)

Assuming you are an inland CEC applicant, i guess your processing should be faster than FSWP outlanders.

All the Best!

There's a potential delay going on at OINP end because of which AOR time has been increased significantly. For FSW Outland applicants - 6 to 8 weeks is now 10 to 12 weeks while for CEC applicants 3 to 5 weeks is now 7 to 10 weeks. However, you may write to ontarionominee@ontario.ca to know about application status. If you are lucky enough, may get a response from them.
Good luck!!

We received AOR on 15th Dec2015, with additional document's (Duplicate WES & pay-stubs etc.) request on 8th Jan'16 and documents sent on 15th Jan'16.

In a dilemma whether we should we write to them now or wait some more... :-X

Would recommend to wait till mid next week (17th Feb). I'm hopeful your nomination is on the cards :). But, if you don't receive any communique by then, please go ahead and drop a note asking for update.
Good Luck!!

Could you please specify why you was requested pay stubs? Did you provide the Letters of Reference from all your employers?

Yes, as per their minimum work experience requirement for OINP in the last 5 years.

Dominica just check with your bank whether your DD is encashed or still outstanding..

Did OINP officials explained their request of pay stubs? I do not remember that providing stubs was indicated as a "must do" requirement while filing application for OINP nomination

No, it's not a must provide document...It comes under additional requirement if the Assessing officer feels the need to.

No there was no explanation except the request for it.

CanadaWeCome, I have one more question - was the salary amount indicated in your Letters of Reference?

The reason why I am asking is that I revealed a mistake in the main Letter of Reference for which I claim all 3 years of experience. In particular, the salary is provided in Ukrainian Hryvnas (UAH) (incorrectly indicated as 50% of the actual amount) and US dollars. And now I have serious worries as to what if this discrepancy will be revealed by the Officer and he will request pay stubs which will be provided in Ukrainian Hryvnas since I reside in Ukraine. What do you think may the discrepancy of salary rate in UAH provided in stubs and the Letter of References be regarded as misrepresentation ? :(

Dear @LanaS
To answer you question on whether the salary was mentioned, yes, it was clearly mentioned as an annual wage in USD, but despite that the assessing officer asked for the pay-stubs.

If i understand your issue correctly from what you wrote is, your wage was mentioned 50% of actual's in local currency but correct amount in USD.
Is the above statement correct?

If that is so, then this can pass of as a typo mistake (or conversion error) since the USD is anyway correct, and will match in the converted local currency (if additionally asked by OINP and when the employer issues) mentioned in pay-stubs.

If not, then you can send them a polite LoE saying that it was a mistake that you missed as an oversight in the reference letter and tell them your actual wage.

IMO, the actual value of the wage is not as important to OINP (or CIC) as the fact that you have/had a PAID job for 3 years in the last 5 years (unless it is so meager that you should need an explanation for required PoF if in your account, which i assume is surely not the case) . So even if there was a mistake and you admit that you made a mistake (actually a typo overlooked) they should have no issues ignoring (or actually accepting) it. But that's just my opinion. And i don't think it's a misrepresentation.

I suggest send them a polite LoE after you receive an AOR, and be content that you did whatever was in your control and hopefully leave the rest on them to finally decide, as it's anyway their prerogative.

All the very Best for your quick Nomination...
