Hello Guys, :D
I am new to this forum, and I am quite confused about the 1-year working experience under CEC.
I remembered that you don't need to have the same job all the time as long as you earned at least 1560hs within 12 months.
So here's my confusion
let's say, I started doing my job (NOC B) from July 2015, then quit in Feb 2016, get another one (NOC B) for a 3-month contract in March. Then due to employer's problem, I am unable to continue working. And then after serval months, get another one (NOC B).
The total hour is over 1560h. but when I submitted, it says I gained no points for working experience.

Can someone explain it to me?
Thank you!!

System requires 12 months, not hours. Please explain in exact months instead of lets say.

Sorry.. here's the whole thing:
I worked as a bookkeeper from July 15-Feb 16, then moved on to another bookkeeper job in Mar 2016. Unfortunately, the employer decided to have a summer break because of her physical issue. Then I got a ROE in May. I start an account payable job from August 2016, and in Jan 17 I got a Parttime bookkeeper until now.
So,
July 15 - Feb 16, 7months
Mar 16 - May 16, 3months
Jan 17 - today, 4 months
I considered it over 12 months...

thanks

In FSW you need continues one year of experience. If you worked these jobs you should be okay.

For CEC

Minimum requirements

You must:
•have at least 12 months of full-time (or an equal amount in part-time) skilled work experience in Canada in the three years before you apply,
•have gained your experience in Canada with the proper authorization,
•meet the required language levels needed for your job for each language ability (speaking, reading, writing and listening),
•plan to live outside the province of Quebec.

Self-employment and work experience gained while you were a full-time student (for example, on a co-op work term) does not count under this program.

Note: The province of Quebec does not use Express Entry. They select their own skilled workers. See Quebec-selected skilled workers to find out more.

Skilled work experience

To be considered for the Canadian Experience Class, you need to have Canadian skilled work experience within three years of applying. According to the Canadian National Occupational Classification (NOC), skilled work experience means:
•Managerial jobs (NOC skill level 0)
•Professional jobs (NOC skill type A)
•Technical jobs and skilled trades (NOC skill type B)

Your experience must be at least 12 months of full-time (30 hours of paid work per week or more) or an equal amount in part-time hours.

Full Time

30 hours/week for 12 months = 1 year full time (1,560 hours)

Part time

15 hours/week for 24 months = 1 year full time (1,560 hours)
Or
30 hours/week for 12 months at more than one job = 1 year full time (1,560 hours)

You must show that you did the duties set out in the lead statement of the occupational description in the NOC, including all the essential duties and most of the main duties listed.

If you do not show that your experience meets the description in the NOC, we will not accept your application.

Find out the NOC code, title and skill type or level for your job.

If your existing work permit is about to expire, you may be eligible for a bridging open work permit. If you are eligible, this permit can let you keep working while you wait for a final decision on your permanent residence application.

As per cic.gc.ca, Its not a mix and match between full time and part time work experiences.

Even if you skip your three months experience, you have 12 months of experience as of today and in two days you will have 13 months. You should be okay

He said the last one is part time.
So 10 months full time + 3 months part time.

CEC counts month to month regardless of joining date.

If someone doesn't have one year of experience on the day you get an ITA, application will get rejected after eAPR.

ADD YTD amount for both and if its grater than 1560 you can apply

No CEC doesn't.

11 months 1 day is NOT 12 months.

Please share link where you obtained this information.

You mean to say if i start my job on 17 Nov 2016 them i have to wait until 17 Nov 2017 ??
if its like this than why CIC just require month and year and not the exact date ?
