One Year program after 12th? A good option or bad?

I opted for Continuing Care Assistant Certificate program(1 year) after class 12 (93% and IELTS 7.5). Is this a good option, does length of program effect my visa chances?

You going for the 1+1 route? It's usually older, mature students who go for that route to save time. For an 18-19 year old who just graduated 12th I would recommend a bachelors (if the family could afford it) or a 2 year diploma. Not because a 1 year program will reduce chances of visa but employers in Canada won't hire you with just 12th + 1 year program on your resume.

Think more long term. If you want to go into healthcare there are so many courses that are better than what you picked, after 12th.
