One way ticket or roundtrip for supervisa from philippines

Usually this is the case for those travelling on temporary resident visas / visitor visas - presentation of a roundtrip ticket is a used by the PH Immigration as a guarantee that the traveller intends to return to back to the country.iampinoy said:

My mom arrived last monday, she had a good trip and the immigration officer was so kind enough to give her 2 yrs stay..
As of the ticket, I purchased two way, she was asked two times to show her return ticket (in the philippines and taipei), good thing i bought one...but what i did is I purchased her return ticket online through korean air, and when she arrived i immediately apply for a refund they charged only $150...compared to buying a roundtrip ticket in the philippines but a lot of things to do when you want a refund and sometimes they wont allow it. So you will be wasting like $600-900...and that's a lot.

Yup - having a round trip ticket is only for presentation purposes mostly at PH immigration, so lots usually refund the return trip upon arriving and then just buy a ticket when the visit ends.
