I ordered my notes late in August . I sent them all addn docs requested in a week after request. Around July .

Ya but do the GCMS notes does not show reviews of complete months?? Do you have any review of simply Destination Ontario: Officer review or you got the review of completion directly??

This means that there are 2 things going on:

1) Ontario is doing routine checks independently of CIC

2) CIC is for sure holding ON applications but why? (internal QA? Political reason: to claim that ON is no longer the preferred destination for immigrants and that the ratio is decreasing blablabla...and to ultimately discourage potential applicants from ON?).

Point 2 is clearly the most disconcerting one but hey, maybe they'll eventually come to their senses and decide to be fair...one can always hope.

I just talked to one of my pnp officers and they said that QA goes random from their side. Files are picked randomly to check whether applicants are still in ontario or not. And officer also said that even if you do not get QA you shouldn't be worried as it has nothing to do with cic
But as you all know no one knows whats going on, anything can happen anytime

Random exercise.....
Strangely enough, Ontario PNP asked CIC to flag files for QA review and CIC flagged Ontario applications and routed to Ontario PNP without doing proper homework. Even the passports were returned to applicants without visa stamp, PPR emails were withdrawn. Applicants medicals are getting expired now. Inconvenience...Hoping this QA exercise will end soon and applications will be rerouted to federal level again.

By the way I received a call from Govt of Ontario. They just wanted to confirm some more personal details at provincial side but now that it is updated, it will go back to federal level for the as-per-normal processing. I asked why only ON applicants are being shortlisted for QA but was told that all other provinces' PNP applicants are being QA-ed too (which isn't true, but I guess the officer at provincial level isn't aware that federal level is only flagging QA for ON PNP applicants). And I might not be in as much of a pickle as some of y'all who applied under no-job-offer stream coz I am holding a full-time job now which I found shortly after I applied for ON-PNP no-job-offer stream...

My status is still Application Received
