Hi,

My group number is 1-40V2A9Z (it is listed on the first page of the notes). What is the due date on your notes (second page)? Mine is Nov 01... It looks like they don't really care about the due dates, though as my previous due date was Aug 31 and nothing happened, it was just changed to Nov...

Oh my, I have the same exact group number (1-40V2A9Z) and change in due date (from Aug 31 to Nov 1). Our applications could very well be in the same folder lol.

Hi,

The due date on my application is also November 01, 2014. I think it is the due date to assign file to a visa officer. This due date is in the section of "Assignment".

So it may mean that we may get "In process" in Ecas by 1st November. Again it's my thinking, one can't be sure about how CIC works.

Hey, some good news - my ECAS now shows Medical received, more than three months after it was done. Hopefully we will see IP soon (and soon means next month or two)

I wondered if someone can help me in finding out how much time it takes to receive the File Number. I have applied Under Ontario Pnp- International students with job offer category. CIO received my file on August 25/2014.

Any time window for receiving FN?

Can we ask a friend who lives in Canada to get these notes for us as we are outside Canada ?
Do you know a good service provider who can do this service for us ?

This is good news. I guess they have reviewed your file and QA must finish completely so they can release all the files in the same time. Quality Audit is not a process. I guess it is more like a project. Ottoawa is given the authority to put some files on Hold "identified files for QA" then they have the authority to release all of them in the same time. You just have to wait 10 days after you were identified, it was reviewed. I think if the review officer needs any thing additional, he will send asking for it. You should find a note of this. But as long as you are on Hold for long time, I think your file is done.

The latest comment on my GCMS notes was: CPC-O PNP O&E entered - Destination Ontario - Officer Review
The note was in late July, 10 days after the previous note, which stated that my file was identified in QA. There were no changes since the end of July (I received my GCMS notes three days ago).

Congrats..You have passed medical exams. CIC has started working on your file after a long delay. Hoping files identified in QA pilot project will be the part of regular processing again. In our case (Ontario FSW Backlog Pilot), our status changed to IP first then MR, RPRF (Demand Draft already encashed by CIC) and near the end of our processing we received additional docs request (for CPC-Ottawa ) from our visa office.

@ Taurus1985 and @ max_ka You both are the senior most in this forum regarding application received and both have completed 1 year time of application submission and you both belong to international student masters stream.
Taurus are you still application received even after 1 year???
I am waiting for my gcms notes, did you all see whats in your gcms notes regarding criminality security, I hope they have not stop proocessing because when we gona get out of hold its gona take more time then.
Secondly if i am not wrong is ontario not getting any new immigrants for past 1 year??

Mine is still application received and in my last notes I got on step 18 criminality was in progress and security not started yet... one of my friend applied on 28 June 2013. is still in process from December.. but good news what I heard is some people got ppr in last few days so I think we will hear something soob

Whoa your application was received in Sep 2013 and your friend's in June 2013 and yet still no PPR? That is worrying... Have you tried emailing CIC-Ottawa directly for a status update?
