They have next flight service for $380. The same offered by Fedex and other for $1500 and more. In quote they give you when it will reach with guarantee. Usually if you send something in the morning it reaches in 4 to 5 hrs.

Should use same day delivery if sending on June 10. Next day delivery will be too late.

I have sent my application already... But if I was a June 10 applicant, I would pay the extra money for the same day delivery...or travel to Sydney on June 9, and drop the application in CIC's mail box on June 10.

Good luck to all.

Exactly. The new rules will come into full effect on June 11, so June 10 is when the application should be there in order to be processed according to the current rules.

$ 75 from mississauga....

I used Purolator to send my application from Toronto, I paid 27.50... I dropped the application at Purolator office at 2 PM, they delivered my application next day 12 PM, so my application was there in 22 hours (less than 24 hours). Received & signed by a CIC employee :)

The delivery date was guaranteed, they told me it will be delivered tomorrow. And they delivered it on time...

My question is : is it guaranteed that when they delivered your application that day is it officially received on the same day? Because our application delivered on Jan 2, 2015 but in my ecas it received on Jan 19. Be sure you're not wasting money and be disappointed. It's only my opinion so please no negative reaction.

I sent my application using Purolator.
I dropped it off on Thursday morning and they delivered it on Friday, around noon.
It was "guaranteed next day delivery". And I only paid $27 or so.

FedEx would take 2 days (and was also slightly more expensive).

I don't know about that $380 option - is it the same day delivery?

If it is sent on 10th, it would have to be delivered the same day.
If it's delivered the next day (11th), it will be too late.

Here are some scenarios:

If someone completes their 1095 days on Monday, the 8th,
they can sign and send the application on 9th with next day delivery
and have it delivered on 10th - all good.

If someone completes their 1095 day on Tuesday, the 9th,
hey would have to sign it on 10th, and have it delivered the same day.

I'm not sure if that $380 service does that.
But if it does not, they could fly to Sydney, NS,
and sign and ship it early in the morning on 10th from there - it should be possible to have
it delivered within hours (you cannot deliver it yourself, it has to be a courier).

Also, if someone completes their 1095 days on Wednesday, the 10th,
then it is too late. The application has to be signed the next day after completing 1095 days,
so 11th - which means new rules will already be in effect.
