Old Visa application changed to Application/Profile Updated, is this normal?

Hi guys,

I currently have an CEC application ongoing, AOR is March 4 and I'm currently desperately waiting for progress.

Today when I log into IRCC portal, I saw one of my old Visa Applicaiton status changed from Approved to Application/Profile Updated. At first I thought this was a glitch, because it happens before but they always disappear after you sign out and sign back in. However, this time its not the case, Even if I fully sign out/sign in, this specific Visa application is still listed as Application/Profile Updated.

Does anyone have similar experience? please share, Thank you all in advance!

An officer most likely looked at your previous application to cross reference information and/or documents.

I just checked my Visitor Visa application and it is same as yours. It won’t change to approve, it’s stuck at Application/Profile Updated
