ahaha, if s pic is for cic , i think whatever cic says about what they want is more important than what people say.

And if u get a letter for interview, and asking u to bring ur passport, and pic - if there is any change in the specifications , am sure cic would b smart enough to include that in d letter or email that was sent to u.

And if ur still in doubt, check for threads with people who got interview emails , and see if the pix specs is different from what on cic website.

Have u gotten Passport Request? If no, then i would suspect they only returned your original documents to IOM..

But i don't have passport to submit, i am just waiting one way travel document with the visa and IOM is facilitating the flight booking and Canadian Abroad orientations.

Is there some one with an idea on this please.

Dear friends,

I want to say farewell to you all and inform you that I am leaving the forum and today was my last day. I have enjoyed exchanging ideas and I appreciate having had this wonderful opportunity to help those I could by my advices. During these last two months through my encouragements and guidance I have been able to reach out with the last effort I could to people who really needed help. In case you don't understand your GCMS notes and still wants my attention I will always be there to help. All you need to do is to remove your UCI #, DOB, and names from your notes then shoot them to canada2008world@gmail.com then I will study your entire notes and outline my findings. Before you send your email to my address rest assured that it must be related to your entire GCMS and not a question from your notes which I will never respond. You need know how to edit your pdf GCMS notes before you shoot them to me. If you don't know how to do it, google it or ask any member who can assist you to edit them. Hi Eagle I ordered my notes and rec them yesterday. At one part it says eligibility: IN PROGRESS, but in another part it says eligibility: REVIEW REQUIRED. i want to send my notes but do not know hw to remove names, dob and uci #...? Im confused

You will see why review is required if you scroll down more on your notes. The immigration officer would have noted why they need an interview

We received your application for permanent residence on August 4th, 2015.

2. We started processing your application on 2nd September , 2015.

I doesn't show DM yet. Do you think I have to email them and ask why they delay it ?

So we were requested additional documents on December 24th, we have all of the papers ready to send but I have a couple questions.

Ive read somewhere that Immigration officer actually doesnt look back to your file until the 30 days passes, is this true? (That means that they will look at my file again January 23rd)
Is it better to send an email or hand in the additional documents?, I'm in Jordan now so I really dont mind handing them in by hand to the embassy.
What is the time line after documents are submitted, again I've read somewhere here that its maximum 3 months?

Can anyone shed some light! Also, is it better for me to order my notes after January 23rd so that I can confirm that the IO has my papers or does it not even show up?

I've been hearing that they don't look at your file until the time limit passes, too. I'm in the same situation with having to give an additional document. They requested Nov. 25th, and I had sent it in before they requested actually and they received it/signed for it on Nov. 16th. So, I'm suspecting they do in fact put away your file until the time limit has passed. It was 60 days in my case. Seeing as it's not Jan 25 yet I can't say for sure.

They start working on file as soon as VO receive the requested documents. They don't wait for 30 or 45 days timeline.

Maybe it's different through EMail. For police clearance I had to send them the original document through the mail. Another idea - I heard that the mail can take a full month from when it's received and signed for until the proper officer gets it to add to your application.

I also wonder if it's different by the office or country.

I guess they could take their time regardless. I don't know. We don't know much about what goes on there. Without this message board I would be fully left the in the dark.

You have a ways to go before you will see a DM! If you read through some of the early posts when Eagle explains things you will have a better understanding for the way it works. You will see an In Process first and it can stay like that for months. Hope this helps!!
