Hi rose68,

I would advise you to request your GCMS January 30th 2016 that will be a good moment. Most Canadian embassies will reduced their man power during this holiday season, so there is no much is going to happen until the second week of January when everything will be in full swing.

Cheers
Hi Eagle,

Hello Raz3,

Yes it means you have an interview, in the coming days you will receive an email or a letter notifying you about the time, location and date of that interview. Foss note checked means they checked if you ever lived in Canada. GCMS is mostly for outland PR and FOSS notes for Inland PR. SPR means Sponsor. I have a question for you if you don't mind: what does Eligibility status say in your GCMS. I am doing a survey because end of next week I will create a new thread about GCMS.
It says interview recomend and in progress
Any suggestions what I can do? MP enquiry didn't help at all

On one hand, when you apply inland PR you need to declare your dependents who are outside of Canada. You need to provide some of the documentation CIC will request. Once you are approved as inland they are in a way eligible to be sponsored in the future if they <19 yrs. On the other, you need to make sure that you submit application for them before they turn over 19 years which is the new law otherwise they will not be eligible to be sponsored in the future. I will double check myself again in 3 hours about this then I will confirm it in another post since I just wokeup now.
Dear Eagle333,

In our case, application is under live-in caregiver program and my wife is the SPONSOR and I'm the PA. She was already granted PR last Dec. 1, 2015 and at the same time received an email from CPCV regarding on how and where to submit our Passports and photos. The details of the said email you can find it below. My questions are:

1. Should I wait for the VO to send me a PPR before sending to them our passports?
2. Thus it indicates that everything is now clear and good to go?
3. Are our file is near for visa stamping?
4. and last, what is the time frame of receiving our PP with visa in it.

Thank you again Sir if you can and have time of replying on it. More power to you and God Bless!

INSTRUCTIONS FOR SUBMISSION OF PASSPORTS AND PHOTOS FOR YOUR DEPENDANTS TO
THE CANADIAN EMBASSY, MANILA

returned by courier collect, telephone number(s) and e-mail address.
• Original passports for all of your accompanying dependants who reside abroad. Please remove
passport jackets/covers.
• Two recent identical passport photographs of every accompanying dependant family member.
Your dependants must submit their passports and photos in an envelope with the application number

2. Courier To:

with their visa(s) within four to six weeks after you have been granted permanent residence in
Canada. They should not make any plans to travel to Canada until they are in possession of their
passports and their required visas.

Hi Ghap911,

I have no idea how Inland PR works, I know a little bit about Outland not Caregiver Program. You better check that forum still on Canadavisaforum. Thanks for your message anyways.

Good Luck

We received application for PR on October 13
We started processing application on December 16

Hey Eagle,

Question. I order my case notes the same time as someone else in my forum topic for Amman.
We both received our case notes the same day. The person in my forum received PPR yet on their case notes, everything said not started. Is it possible that a VO doesn't update their system? The person applied a month before me.

I understand that every case is different but I just want to give myself a timeline.

Also, happy holidays! Thank you for all you do :)

No, you just started the process, SA is very quick but the real thing has just begun for you. You will go through many realities and pressure but keep your mind on the positive side otherwise you will crack. Good luck and bon voyage in this process.

Hi Masriixo,

It is very easy, tell your friend that his/her GCMS notes were generated before the officer at the embassy updated his/file then proceeded with the PPR. They can be lazy in updating the eCas but trust me not GCMS file because it is the very oxygen you and them breath when it comes to PR processing. When he/she orders new set they will be so much change

Hi medopharm,

If I were you, I'll keep those additional proofs you got right now so that when she goes for interview she carries something which will attract the officer's attention than walking bear handed just to come answering questions. You can still send those proofs with the hope to wave the interview but what if they don't wave it and still want to meet your wife in person in order to find out whatever they want.

You are her husband and comforter in these difficult times, when you start panicking on the phone you are just making things worse without knowing. Remember you will actually plant a seed of fear and panic in her, so at the time of that interview a tree of fear would have already bore fruits then end up getting rejection simply because she would panic and display deceptions in her body language. You need to prepare her mentally to be positive, remove fear in her with more assured words. Where do you think I got this little knowledge and experience I got with PR process? I went through thick and thin my friend but I had always have faith in someone who is above me and CIC, that is why I don't panic like I see people doing in this forum. There are questions people never asking me on this forum which is fine with me. I know how a complete GCMS notes look like when the visa is issued and CoPR printed and I also know how a Refused case look on GCMS notes because it happened to me in the past. I believe that made me more stronger and I do sympathise a lot with people because I went through what they are going now.

In short medopharm, I trust you will be a positive image in front of your wife. She probably does not even understand what she is about to go through and all she knows; she has a man who seems to be in control. You got to face this with wisdom and ask questions to people you will be alright. You can choose to send those proofs if you wish so at the same still prepare your wife mentally how to handle those 30-45 min interview. Remember she can still speak in the language she is comfortable in to reduce the stress or panic in case she will be. All the best and I will put you in my prayers.

Best Regards
Hi Eagle 333
You mentioned in your last reply to my post that
that if I sent the documents and photos by email My wife might probabily gets her interview waived

I always believed that waving of an interview is an inside job as we are on the outside, and I do believe that once an interview is setup it is very hard to reverse that decision even if you send more proofs. If I told you that I was wrong because I responded to so many people who are waiting for their interviews that they need to remain calm and prepare their interviews by collecting proofs. Read what CIC usually believes when someone is setup for interview.

Please read the enclosed interview information carefully and ensure that you bring the originals of all relevant documents
to the interview. In the meantime, DO NOT send us any documents or questions concerning your application. Save them and
bring them with you to your interview. Failure to present ALL of the relevant original documents may result in a refusal
of your application.
