OLD IN PROCESS VS NEW IN PROCESS ON ECAS EXPLAINED

It is shown on the RCMP police certificate but it's say Acquitted. I'm with London Visa Office

Oct 2014 - Application Sent
December 2014 - Receive AOR and SA, Forward to London VO
July 2015 - Email from CIC about acquitted charges
July 2015 - My lawyer forwarded necessary papers to CIC
Sept 2015 - ECAS change to In Process

Bilnupe if I were you I would not worry at all since there is no convictions. Your file looks good to me and I am pretty sure they are conducting Security and Criminal checks on you. Have you ordered your GCMS Notes yet? Do you know the date your file went in process? If you have not yet ordered your GCMS Notes wait until you see the date your file goes in process then you can request for them. Good luck

All I can see now is Decision Made looming around your file. I am so sorry that your app. took a very long time. I am sure you stuck in the background checks. Did you have to go under Security interview or what? They have extended your medicals already to their discretion.

they never ask me for interview and according to my MP he said i will be in Canada before my medical expire and only thing is CHC waiting for ARC approval now my medical expired.

AOR2: August 31, 2015

I sponsored my spouse (currently in India)
My spouse's ecas status has 3 lines now:
We recieved your applicatipn for permanant residence on June 23,2015
We started processing your application on August 27, 2015
Medical results have been recieved.

Does that mean that they are currently working on background criminal checks n security? Does it mean our application has crossed the eligibiliy stage?

I bet if you request your GCMS notes you passed Eligibility which is the foundation upon everything will be built on. You are in background checks give your file time to mature I would say 4 to 6 months. Good Luck

IT is clear that you're part of the new IN PROCESS group and if you order your GCMS Notes right now you will see that Your Eligibility says Pass and they are now doing back ground checks which might take few months to be completed. So far I don't have any concerned and your case looks good. if you can see when your PR Application went IN PROCESS you are fine.

My case is similar except it showed in process since August , but says they started processing March 12?? So how long do you think until I get DM

esma you are part of the old procedure, expect DM any time soon if your MED is in order. good luck

I was hoping that they would give DM unfortunately my husband's medical expired just a few days ago (Oct 16). So I think rather they will ask for re - med or give us medical extension.
Also they gave my husband's original educational pears back+ our photographs + our marriage certificate (around September 1,2015)
Ps. I am sponsoring husband from Pakistan I am Canada in citizen.

The ecas status has gone to in process on September 01, 2015. We have heard nothing after that.
I am just worried about interview; if they put us in interview list then it will be another two years of waiting.


Do you think we have a chance of being put in interview list? Should we order GCMS notes?

If there was nothing wrong with his first Medicals, they may just extend them. Returning documents you submitted is a positive sign that they near to wrap up your husband's file. If it was a rejection they'd put DM on his file followed by the DM letter then after few days they will return docs for appeal which is not your case.

Thank you so much I have been worrying for so long about why it hasn't turned into DM yet. I was scared they have have just rejected our file. But I'm glad and praying that I get D M soon

Congratulations if your Eligibility says pass in your GCMS. the only thing I will recommend is patience until your background checks are fully completed. I have a good number of Pakistanis' friends who had their background checks for a very long time. There are things I cannot explain why CSIS takes se long to conduct these checks for Pakistanis nationals and the surrounding countries . If you applied for PR before 2015 you would know the difference between the old in process vs the new we are talking about. I am pretty sure you would know because lot of people here they check their eCAS every day sometimes even 10 times a day thinking that it might changed to better status they hope for. As I browsed through your timeline trust me you fall under the new process of CIC which is why you hear people talking it.

Eagle please answer my question my file forwred london visa office july 14 and my ecas showing lines so what i think about my case and 3rd line added after 1 month of inprocess showing and also tell me how i cheek my current value of my case any other option my wife dnt want to order notes can i order from uae and how i pay mony from uae or any other way

Based on your timeline, I see 0% of interview. If you want to believe me order your GCMS Notes they give more information than a MP can provide. CIC makes sure people know about the time, dates and location of their interviews as soon as possible. If you are part of the NEW IN PROCESS yes your file will go in process but you won't able to see when they started working on your file until they clear Edibility. On this new process you will not see the date of in process if your file is pending for interview that is the key piece of information right there guys need to know.
