Old Employer Closed , VISA may be Rejected !!

Hi All

Out of my 8 years exp , i spent 3 years in a company in India ( my forst job before 5 years ) which is clsoed recently. I Have below doubts

1) How CHC- London will do Employment verification !!
2) Employment verification will be done for all companies or only the recent one
3)If they are not able to verify then what could be the consequences !!

BTW i have 4 years experince in same NOC without considering that first company, in worst case can I ask them to Ignore my first company

Hi,
CHC people will verify from your recent employer. In case if the find that you are no more working with them or the company is closed, they will request you for an update. No worry

Write an explanation regarding situation in well mannered and also arrange a letter from your ex. colleague, manager or director of the same company with stated on your behalf that, you were employed in ____company from ____to____and the company has been shut down due to _____reason and give their contact address for verification by CIC, if so. I think it should works.

They verify from all the companies that u have worked in. In case a company has been closed you should send a cover letter along with you application mentioning the same. CHC must have already encountered cases where the companies have shut down. If the company was a legitimate one then the CHC wil be able to verify it.

hi.

there have been instances of job verification from all the previous employers. while in some cases no or minimal job verification is done. This is found from reading a few posts especially for CHC delhi. It all varies from CHC to CHC and also from IO to IO. You do not know which category you will fall into.
So the best thing is not to give a chance to the IO to reject/ doubt or application.
I think you should do as nimmiboy has mentioned in his post.
In CHC Delhi there was an applicant who worked for 3 different companies and had CHC calling all the 3 employers and finding out their job functions. And after job verification he got passport request in 1 months time.
