OINP x Express Entry Profile

The point is: I have PGWP and it can not be extended. I need to find another way through express entry as Canadian Experience. With low score because of the age, I will continue wait for PNP. When did you apply? I've heard that people are waiting for more than an year but a coworker had the same time-line as mine but he already applied for PR throughout PNP Ontario.

Same here; pgwp expired on Aug 30. rn, am in the process of creating OINP EOI and hopefully be able to start working (with the work permit through policy)

Need help!!! I got my Invite for oinp under express entry in skilled trades draw on Aug 22,2024.Submitted the application today i.e- Sep 13,2024. Work permit expired in march 2024 and was unable to apply for an extension because of the new rules.So applied for visitor visa which got approved and is valid till October 01,2024. Can i travel to india now that the file is submitted? Have no job here for past 7 months and each day it’s getting difficult to manage even basic expenses. Lawyer said i cannot work until i get my nomination.

i will be submitting my EOI in a week and probably apply for the work permit as well citing the public policy but no instructions from ontario officially yet. In my case, I am waiting to onboard so its like reviving my status. how is your thing going?

Ontario hasn't indicated they are participating so please expect the work permit application to be refused. If your current work permit is expiring soon, please make sure you apply for a visitor record before that happens so that you don't fall out of status.

Thanks for your reply. I have applied for visitor record before my expiry so I am maintaining the status.

Also, regarding the policy, it is also stated that "I hereby establish that there are sufficient public policy considerations that justify the granting, in accordance with section 25.2 of the Act, exemptions from the requirements of the Regulations listed below to foreign nationals who meet the conditions set out below." - I understand it was like a federal announcement that's announced in a quick span.
However, If i have a good enough score that I only need to work for an year to get enough points for CEC, does it not make sense?

FYI Everything else checks out in terms of eligibility, employer, job offer etc

I didn't receive any information yet.... I understand they are busy, but my experience is the worst one. So disappointed.
