I got email asking me to provide my work permit and degree certificate last Friday, hope the nomination will coming soon
BTW, did they email to you or call you to confirm the address before sending the letter? Or we have to wait at home to expect the surprise?

They should have asked for your current employment status and residence. If they had chances are slim they will call or email you. Stay put wait for Purolator to deliver else follow up with Purolator specially if you are living in an apartment building.

A question
Why would you need the hard copy of the nomination? Aren't the 600 points automatically added on your EE profile when you accept it?

They use Purolator

Since you raised the issue, beware of Purolator they are not professional. I was sent this nomination on the 2nd Feb and they were holding it till now. They had the no on the package and did not call me. I keep calling my nearest Purolator to ask if they have my package. They are not good at all.

When I asked them why did they not deliver, in the comment section on package it said no apartment no. I pointed it to the lady at Purolator my suite no mentioned to challenge the comment on the package. But I doubt that would change their attitude further.

Following is my status response from OINP :-

" Our records indicate that your application was received by the OINP on December 3, 2015 and is currently pending a completion check. "

I guess around March 2016 I should have a clear picture on my OINP application. Any idea on the next steps after this?

Well, it certainly is not. There are deviations from the first-come-first-serve policy - major deviations. I'm not sure what criteria they look at when issuing quick AORs but the fact is, they do happen!

They have just started with the November applicants. They have issued AORs till Nov 5/6 AFAIK. You can expect an AOR in March!

6 - 8 weeks was the usual timeline for FSW applicants. Lately, the rate at which AORs are sent have slowed down. This might be because of the HUGE number of applications that are received and/or the processing of refugee applications by the provinces. I'm hoping they will expedite the process.

Hi all,

I assume that those of you who already received their nominations are applying for PR now (Sydney path, not EE one). I have a question about the list of documents. Do you know if spouses need to do an IELTS test or only principal applicants?

Thanks Raj.... if AOR is received it implies the application is accepted and nomination will follow. In other words AOR implies acceptance for OINP and adds 600 points to CRS which in turn will give PR nomination.
