OINP PhD Stream - Document submission for degree granted.

Hi all,

I hope this thread finds a proper guidance. I currently gather documents that are required to submit for OINP - PhD Stream in the provincial nomination program. According to the website, quote reads that: "If your PhD degree has been granted, you must scan and upload a copy of:

• your PhD degree granted from an eligible Ontario university
• your official transcripts issued by the university that granted your degree"

My degree has not been granted yet; however, given I complete all requirements: Thesis, Teaching, and Comprehensive exam in PhD program. Could I submit a letter stating I am eligible to graduate + transcript with all progress at my university for replacement of the degree? I am a bit confused of how they check the granting of PhD education. If there is any person experiencing with this case, I am happy if you could share your experience of getting the eligibility graduation letter or related documents that could substitute while waiting for the degree to be granted.

I’m in a similar situation. Could you share your experience with this case? Regarding the graduation date, did you use the granting date, which is still in the future and wasn’t accepted by the form, or the date you received the graduation letter?
