What arguments did you put in your responses to the PFL. Anything as per the below?

Hi, I went through the hours route - i met more than the 1,560 hours stated in their application guidelines. i'm trying to stay positive about getting nominated but its difficult. Its more frustrating thinking of the possibility of getting denied after waiting over one year (as against their 90 days processing timelines)

Hello Guys,

My nomination hasn't been yet transferred to my new profile. Today I checked that the nomination status on my new profile is changed to 'expired' from 'pending'.

I have emailed ONIP about it. Has anyone else faced the same situation, and what does ONIP do in this case to transfer nomination?

IS IT MANDATORY FOR INDIAN STATES ESPECIALLY FOR PUNJAB TO GET PCC DONE ONLY THROGH SSP OFFICE NOT FROM PSK ? OR SHOULD I GO FOR BOTH PSK AS WELL AS SSP OFFICE.

Just get it done from PSK. PSK provides PCC in a format which is very much acceptable by IRCC.

CAD 15000 equivalent is not enough. Check the exact figure on IRCC website $15143 for 2 people. Make sure that you show atleast another 100 to 200 dollars more in your total to combat constantly fluctuating currency exchange rates. You can show money either in one account or spread across a few bank accounts. Only this amount is enough.

I am gonna show much more thn 15143$ that's not an issue...

Hello everyone! I've received a PFL from OINP. I'm a little apprehensive, but at least the process showed some progress. And I can provide all the info they requested. So it'll be ok.

I ask the senior members to advice me on answering this PFL the best way. My comments are bellow in bold:

The assessment of the information and documentation submitted in support of the application indicates that some of the above criteria may not have been met. Specifically,

 A minimum of one year (12 months) of continuous and full-time employment (1,560 hours or more) or an equal amount in part-time paid work experience in your chosen NOC per your MyCIC profile (NOC 2171, Skill Level A) in the past five years from the date of PT Notification of Interest from Ontario o Please note that the OINP calculates continuous work experience based on the date of the PT Notification of Interest. In this case, the Program issued the Notification of Interest on December 4, 2015 and the work experience was assessed five years prior as of this date. - this happened because on my most recent job there was a contract change, I was outsourced and the negotiation between my company and client took 1 month. So there was a gap.

You have 30 calendar days from the date of this letter to provide additional information or documentation to support that the application satisfies program criteria:

 Copies of pay stubs for a continuous 12 month period, between December 4, 2010 and December 4, 2015, from a position that falls under NOC 2171. - I intend to send the bank extracts showing 14 months consecutive salary deposits from another employer. From set/2011 to dec/2012. I've requested this employer the payslips multiple times, but they refuse to give them. I can send the emails to show I've questioned the employer if you think it's a good idea and also a copy of my employment contract.

 Supporting evidence that the job duties indicated in the position noted above match the lead statement and main duties of NOC 2171 as indicated on the application. - this point will be the trickiest one. My former employer (from sep/2011 to jan/2013) is Brazil's biggest bank and they impose what is easier to them on providing documents. They only give a letter that is a little bit generic and covers the job activities for all employers on the same role, not specifically mine. I was an IT professional, the letter shows duties more related to accounting, since most of my co-workers were accountants at the time. So I could explain that, give my view on my activities and maybe include a declaration from a former co-worker stating that my activities were IT related, describing them. How should I proceed?

 Proof that funds in the Investment Account with Bradesco and an ending balance of XXXX Brazilian Real as of November 16, 2016 are unencumbered and readily transferable in a convertible currency. Please also include 6 months of bank statements for this account. - I intend to send the original and translation of the investment fund sheet available in the bank website. That shows that this investment is D+0 for withdraw, can be accessed anytime. Also the extract for 6 months on this investment.

I await your advice. Finally I fell like nomination is around the corner.

Best Regards!

I'm very sorry for your PFL, but you seem to be in a excellent position to answer everything and address all their concerns. My suggestions:

1) Explain the contract change and that you're outsourced, you should be OK here. They mention that you must have continuous employment for 12 months at the same job and I think you can quite convincingly argue that you're performing the same job either outsourced or insourced.

2) Translate your PaySlips and account statements and send all of that, should be fine!

3) The best way to tackle this is to get your direct manager to write a letter that details your responsabilities, my suggestion is talk to him and if he agrees then draft a letter that mentions 80% of the responsabilities mentioned here - http://www23.statcan.gc.ca/imdb/p3VD.pl?Function=getVD&TVD=122372&CVD=122376&CPV=2171&CST=01012011&CLV=4&MLV=4 - obviously it must be stuff you've done as the officer may give you a ring to interview you! Include his business card with the reference letter and see if RH can stamp it. Note that if he signs the letter in English he should expect a call form the officer.

4) Yes, translate the investment leaflet and the bank statements and you should be good to go!

Good luck!

Thanks for the tips. My comments:

1)I'll use another work experience from a previous employer (15+ consecutive months). My guess it's easier than justify this gap during contract renegotiation.

2)OK

3)My former manager is not in the company anymore. And we do not have a good professional relationship. I could request a former co-worker (who still works there) to write me a declaration on the activities I performed. Would that be valid?

4)OK.

2)OK

3)My former manager is not in the company anymore. And we do not have a good professional relationship. I could request a former co-worker (who still works there) to write me a declaration on the activities I performed. Would that be valid? A: Suggest if the employer is accessible ask again (no harm in that, they might now agree for all you know, if you tell them it's for nomination and you are very close to getting it) else go for the colleague option (preferable if on an official letter head) with rest as explained by g126 earlier.

4)OK.

1) Sorry if I wasn't clear. I've already sent the letter from this other employer. But when received ADR in november I've sent payslips from most recent employer since it was more accessible. The problem is the payslips from this most recent job were not consecutive, there is a gap during contract renegotiation.

3) Already asked again. They only give me the generic letter with tons of accounting job descriptions. I will explain how my work best fit in those activities and intend to send former co-worker statement.

Thanks!

Good plan, you should be fine! I too changed my work experience and even NOC at the last stage of the process and everything ran smoothly from there. Don't worry, just be very thorough in your LOE and go for it. As for the company letter, write a convincing letter as per G126 tips in regards to job description and have your former co-worker sign it on company letterhead.

Yup... for 1 you should be fine if you have 15+ months (within the last 5 years but before your PT NOI date).

2. Co-worker is not ideal, but if that's the best you can do then go for it. If you can get it stamped by HR that's even better... is there no one higher up the chain that you know and could help you out with this? Your manager's manager?

They sometimes ask for performance review, any chance you could translate some final year performanca reviews that detail what you did and are aligned to what the NOC needs?

Hi Guys,

Anyone know how much time they take to transfer Nomination to new profile?
and If I go to there office will it make the process any faster.

Thanks,
Azhar

Anything from 1 day to 1 month... It depends on several things. Did you receive a NLA email? If so then it's probably quicker... If not expect a least 2 weeks.

You can't speak to an officer at the office so my guess is that it WONT go any faster, but you're welcome to try! If you get good results please share with us for future reference.
