What is your IELTS or CELPIP score? They mus be above CLB 7 for all four disciplines!
Yeah I have a 7.5, expiring in April - I am so confused because I've provided them with everything, including my IELT's.

I guess the letter does specify that I have to provide additional proof particularly on the employment side (meeting the 1560 hours or more in the NOC codes required).

On a sidenote, I have received my ITA just a couple a days ago before the nomination, in that case, do I still provide them with what they're asking for...

Thank you so much again!!

It up to you! Do you really want the nomination? If I were you I'd forget the nomination and just go for the ITA... But be aware that if you couldn't convince OINP that you're CEC you may have the same problem with IRCC....

Your ITA email will have you points... MAKE SURE you can back up all those points that your claiming otherwise you're fail IRCC initial checks. Look in the AOR or ITS threads for more detail.

Thanks so much!!

I will ask for further assistance from the lawyers - I guess I will forget about the nomination and try and back all the ITA points up and provide them with all the information they've asked for again

How to get IMEI number for medicals?

Doctor panel I visited is saying that upfront medicals are stopped.

Then your doctor is not well-informed (and so are hundreds of clinics in the world). IRCC sent instructions that upfront medical exams are NOT required for sponsorship applications and NOT for EE-PR applicants. Clinics just assumed the concept of upfront medical itself is being decommissioned and hence blindly refuse to conduct an upfront medical exam. Carry a copy of the notice that IRCC has posted on its website and explain to them that you are applying under Express Entry and this is different from the sponsorship application that IRCC is talking about.

Link --> http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/medical/medexams-perm.asp

A new application process for the spousal sponsorship program came into effect on December 15, 2016. Upfront medical exams are no longer needed for spouses, partners or dependent children. To help avoid delays in processing, wait for our instructions before going for your medical exam.

Find more information on what to do for your medical exam.

The number of hours should have been in employment of ONE YEAR. if the employment is less tahn one year the there is a issue.

Very sorry to hear this...

Basically you need to argue that you meet these requirements:

So do you have at least 1,560 hours of work in skilled NOC (0, A or B)? If so, did you obtain them legally (approved WP)?

And do you have at least a Bacholers equivalent degree

And do you have at least Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) 7 for NOC 0 or A jobs OR Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) 5 for NOC B jobs?

If so draft a response that will prove you have all the above and that should be enough! Usually they complain about the amount of time you've worked, but since yours is more generic focus your reply on all sections carefully showing them how you meet all the above criteria!

Good luck!

Is getting procedural fairness letter a bad thing?

No, not really. Did you get it, for what reason?

The curious Case of continuous employment:

Employer 1 : May 27, 2014 - May 25, 2015 (one day short of exact one year).

Employer 2: June 20, 2015 -Sep 06, 2016 (received PT from OINP on Jan 18, 2016, so not exactly one year ).

Procedural fairness letter:
If you choose to qualify under the FSWP criteria, you will also be assessed against
CIC’s six selection factors to ensure you meet the minimum of 67 points for the FSWP.
The assessment of the information and documentation submitted in support of your
application indicates that some of the above criteria may not have been met.
Specifically:
1. Applicants must demonstrate a minimum of one year of continuous and full-time
employment (1,560 hours or more) or an equal amount in continuous part-time
paid work experience in a national Occupation Classification (NOC) 0, A, or B
occupation in the past five years from the date of the PT Notification of Interest
from Ontario.
o The information provided in your application suggests that none of the
positions listed in your application meets the required minimum of one
continuous year (12 complete months) of full-time employment in the five
years prior to the date of the Notification of Interest from Ontario, January
18, 2016.
2. Your application may not meet the minimum of 67 points for CIC’s six selection
factors for the FSWP. This is calculated against the information and
documentation in the application, including information regarding the work
experience requirements noted in item 1 above, as well as information submitted
regarding other criteria.
You have 30 calendar days from the date of this letter to provide additional information
or documentation to support that your application satisfies program criteria. Should the
program not receive additional information within this timeframe, your application will be
assessed based on the existing information on file which may lead to the refusal of your
application.
1. Please provide proof of one complete year of continuous and full-time
employment (1,560 hours or more) or an equal amount in continuous part-time
paid work experience in a national Occupation Classification (NOC) 0, A, or B
occupation in the past five years from the date of the PT Notification of Interest
from Ontario.
2. Additional information to support your application meets the 67 points as
assessed against CIC’s six selection factors.
Thank you for your interest in the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program.

However, I have 52 complete weeks of work experience with at least 40 hours a week (way greater than 1,560 hours) even though I fall one day short of one exact year. Does anyone think such an explanation would suffice. Your suggestions are much awaited. Thanks in advance

Hi guys..been a minute. Been busy gathering documents upon documents. Finally applied for PR today. Hoping for the best...less than 6months hopefully. For those that are still gonna do medicals..make sure to always mention to the clinic that you are under Express Entry. They always seem to be quite confused as regards upfront medicals till you mention you are for Express Entry. Goodluck to us all.

In my PoV you can try to explain (argue) that although your experience does not meet the 'Calendar days' of 365 it meets the criterion of 52 weeks that is considered a standard for an year with number of hours per year way more than the required 1,560 hrs. which well compensates for the calendar days if at all it needs any compensation.

Try this if this helps and you don't have any other alternative.

All the best!
