Hi All,

I know this is not the right forum but I am just trying to be proactive!

I need to know where and how in Ontario can I get my PCC for Canada done?
Can I get it done from the commissionaires or only RCMP is authorized.
Is there a forum? Can someone please guide me to right forum :-[

Thank you and apologies in advance :(

Hi SSahaj,

You dont need Canadian PCC (Criminal Record Check) unless asked specifically.

Thanks.

You will need to get police certificates for you and each of your family members who are over 18. You must get one from each country or territory where you have lived for six or more consecutive months since the age of 18.

Total stay in the country, irrespective of whether it was continuous or not is considered.

You're not meant to get Criminal Check for Canada unless requested. They only request this if there is someone with your name who has a criminal record in Canada.

Confusion :-\
Any seniors input? Who has submitted PR application under express entry in Canada (did you provide PCC for Canada as well)

I guess being safe-side would be to provide them with PCC I wouldn't want my application being rejected or slowed down for additional document request.

Hmm, mine is 16036**. I started panicking now >:( ??? ???

Maybe depends on the officer who gets the file, some are slower than others.
Just hope for best and stay positive, you should here back something before the end of the week.

Someone got nominated with decision phase date email after me. (I think few days up/down might be because of the officer/team)

ECA request on the 21st, sent on 25th via standard mail (not sure how long that takes?)

Waiting for any communication from them!

You need to authorize OINP to access applicant ECA directly.
