Concerning enough, but I haven't ever got an AOR email, nor a rejection. I have sent multiple emails and fax to get attention but never got a response.

Well if your DD was encashed then one can assume that they are processing your application. I would advise that you check your SPAM/JUNK mail folders. I know some persons missed their AOR mail because it went to SPAM/JUNK folder.

Regarding emailing/faxing OINP, they really don't seem to respond at all. You can attempt calling, but you'd be lucky to get anyone on the line. I think right now they are so focused on processing applications that they are not allowing themselves to be distracted.

Hopefully by the end of November we should hear from them (i.e. Additional Document Request or NOMINATION).

Try calling them atleast 20 times if first call goes to auto mailbox, to get hold on operator / officer

If you have got the DD Receipt, then you don't need to worry. You are already in it.

I was able to get through to an operator on phone and prompted them for an AOR that I now have. My file number is XHSW-1603***. However there is no initials for a case officer there.

How many attempts were made before you actually got through to the officer? I've been trying several times a day for the past few days and still no luck. :-[

At least 20 times consistent calling. Took me 26 times to get through.

Hi, Senior

I got OINP office email, said they have move our case to assessment phase with priority flag since our working permit will be expired soon. If anyone has experience or share your similar case, how long does it take from assessment to decision ? I know there are may conditions that make every case different, but it would be a good refer to... our case is CEC with working permit expired in 3 months.

Doc receiving acknowledgement 2 Aug moving to assessment 25 Oct WP expiration Feb 2017

If I get my medical done before ONIP sends me the nomination or document request, is it a good decision to get the things done in advance? If yes then for how many months the medical is valid? Please advise......

Not recommended until u get ITA. More late u go for Medicals more time you will have to go to Canada.

Valid for 12 months.

Some good News for us Jan applicants, OINP has nominated FSW candidates up to Dec 30. (as of Oct 24, 2016)

It shouldn't be too far now before some of us Jan FSW applicants getting nominated ;D

Not all, there are still many pending, but yes they are working very quick and we should expect the additional docs by Nov followed by nomination
