IELTS - YES absolutely!!! Reschedule ASAP because if you have a bad day you'll at least have a chance to try again before yours expires...

Your IELTS should be valid on the day, you submit your e-apr (post ITA). Once that's submitted everything freezes - IELTS expiry, Birthday etc. doesn't matter. You will surely get nomination/ ITA before April 2017 !!

Checked status on 22nd August : "pending review by an Investigator Analyst".
Received mail for Addition Documents from Investigator Analyst : 28th Sept, 2016. (15 day deadline)
Documents sent on: 04th Oct, 2016 (via email)
Received call from Investigator Analyst for verifying some details in my documents : 07th Oct, 2016 (lasted 20 mins)

He confirmed, within next 2 weeks I should be receiving a final decision in physical mail via Purolator.

I'm using Ontario's flag as a sign of high hopes! huahauauhau I've checked the IELTS test dates and I can schedule for a month from now. I'll wait until january/17 to book for a new test if necessary.

Hopefully we will all get nominated by mid December/2016.

Well that's good news... When I got mine there was a 3 month waiting list, I had to opt for the more expensive version (for UK) otherwise I would have had to wait until March/April 2016... Watch out for that, I think there is more demand at the end of the year and the wait increases.

In any event I'd schedule one with enough slack so that you can retake it if necessary, nothing worse that doing an exam under pressure to get a required grade knowing that either you get it or you're screwed... In my case if I fall below CLB 9 I'd dip under 400 points...

I tried to call OINP to know status of my application but as usual no body is answering. I m curios because one of my friend who sent OINP file after me receives email to send ECA report.

I have no clue what are their criteria to work on OINP files. Anyone who is 7th Jan, 2016 applicant received Nomination..??

I am sitting at 466 since last month...What to do..??

People from November, December are receiving additional documents request as well as nominations.

You must wait till mid-November to see how things proceed.

It's highly unlikely that January applicants will see any movement this year.

Nominations for December folks started to pour in only in the last 2 weeks i believe.. And we will still have 6 more weeks for November end... so i think January applicants chances of completing this year is pretty good..

I got ECA verification request. On WES sight, when I add OINP as additional recipient, I get total 70 $ charge. I don't want a copy for myself. I just want to send it to OINP (which is 30 $). Anyone could do that?

If it's hard to get a test date for IELTS in your country, then I suggest you to start booking for another IELTS soon. April isn't too far away (given the time it has already passed at OINP )

Another "rookie" question. From the point of Nomination, is it still required to send Change of Personal Information to OINP if some of my personal details change? Or are we "through" with OINP from that moment on
