judging by the File Number of our fellow JAN2016 OINP applicants, i can see 16031xx to 16042XX, that's over 1000 applicants separating between them

And OINP has like 2500 quota for this year? ??? That's half of the quota already.

Don't worry. We all will get nominations. They have enough quota left in their bucket.

Might not be that simple. I originally submitted my application in January but they wouldn't accept it until August so I reckon I got the latest File No of 16042xx.

I received AOR 2 days back after multiple coordination over FAX/EMAIL/Call.

The mail stated that OINP had already sent my AOR on Jul 22 2016. So technically I just have 8 days left before my DD reaches OINP office. Please correct if I am wrong.

Also,
1. Apart from Name, Application & File No., what all information should I specify on the envelope containing the DD??
2. To request for the old DD, I need to send them a mail informing the same. Any additional stuff to be done??

Attach below documents if possible:
1. AOR copy
2. Email copy they sent
3. Latest POF
4. Latest Salary slips for your current employer.
5. Letter of explanation.

To get old dd, revert to that email which you got asking for new DD.

As my application received date was 26 jan and on inquiring they replied that my application is in second stage i.e. pending review by an investigator analyst. I am so much confused. Please help. They are not replying to emails now. Calls do not get through. Yet I have not tried the fax. My DD is not encashed and already expired. Please help I have not received my AOR

You can FAX them on above given number. You should hear something from them. Don't worry your AOR is already generated, you just need to get your file number from them..

yes i have applied for WP extension suggested by my lawyer, few of my friends have done it and they received their nominations july 28 they submitted their files on jan 9-12. Applying an extension isnt a problem at all. Visitor too is fine. All OINP wants is we need to maintain any kind of non immigrant status. FORCANADAEXP

I am just worried because they might put me on low priority because I applied for visitor, not the bridge WP. Do you know anyone who got nomination who are on visitor status. Could you please tell me your first two digit of file number.? Mine is 22xx.

Congratulations to you and your friend! How did you apply for WP extension? Did you obtain LMIA? I am trying to apply for extension for my WP as my PGWP expires in October but it says I need either LMIA or have to be nominated to extend it. Any suggestions?
