I sent an email to oinp yesterday to inquire about my file cause i dont not have the AOR yet. I have submitted my file on 29th Febuary 2016.
This is what i got as reply this morning:
Can you guys tell me what this means? Is this the AOR or just the Reply of my inquiry. And how long should it take for my AOR?
Dear Sir/Madam,

Thank you for applying to the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program.

We have reviewed and accepted your application. We have now put your application in the queue for further processing.

You will receive an acknowledgement letter that will include your file tracking number.

Please note that processing is taking longer than usual due the large number of applications in our inventory.

The OINP appreciates your patience as it works diligently to process the high-volume of applications received.

Please note that if you are in Canada, it is your responsibility to remain in legal status throughout the time while your application is being processed by our program.

Do NOT submit any documentation to this office until you have received a formal acknowledgement letter from PNP advising that your application has been accepted for processing and advising you of your assigned file number.

Sincerely,

Need a help. Need to change some information on my OINP file. Can we get the file from http://www.forms.ssb.gov.on.ca/mbs/ssb/forms/ssbforms.nsf/GetFileAttach/005-0161E~1/$File/0161E.pdf and can we just email them the new documents or do we need to them send them a hard copy ?

Some members have reported that they accept via email and some say it has to be sent by Mail or fax (as written on form itself).

I would recommend you to ask OINP over call or email.

I, personally, sent hard copy after getting AOR, along with new DD.

Even my personal information has changed and I want to update OINP, But I am still waiting my File number and application receipt- app sent 17-Feb-2016.
Is it OK to wait for File number and then send the Personal info update form , as it has field as File Number : on Top Right Corner ?

Please advice.

Hi Everyone,

I wanted to know how to update the IELTS score on the CIC application page and the email to be sent to ONIP with the actual scorecard copy.

My points had dropped due to age to 397 - so gave IELTS again and scored above 7 in all, now will update the application for the same and inform ONIP of the latest score. If anyone has done this in the past, please guide me on the process so that I don't make a mistake.

regards
Rishi

1. Update EE profile first with latest IELTS scores and test reference number.
2. Later, send IELTS TRF copy to OINP with letter of explanation, over email or mail.
3. After couple of days, confirm over phone if they have attached your new IELTS copy with your file or not. Keep calling till you get answer.

CRS drop due to age has no impact on your application

Hi all,

Do we need a 15 CA CB FORM again to get the draft made ?? Or the original one works that we submitted with the bank if we getting the draft from the same bank again in India??

People who have got the DD made again pls help

Thanks
My bank bugged me for the same today and after spoiling my entire day I went to CA only to find out there is no such option in 15CA CB drop down that says for immigration purpose. The branch manager told me there has been so many changes in 15 CA CB in last few months that nobody has clarity, at last I was able to convince them to make me a DD. Try Indian banks they are more felxible or just ask your CA to fill up other reason in 15 CA form but you would need the correct branch code.

In which bank your account is?

I was never asked for such form, both the times. They usually asks the purpose to send the money. That's it.

Hi All,

Finallyyyyyyy I received my much awaited AOR mail a few minutes back....

-------------------------------------------------
Application Received Date: Jan 18 2016
Application No.: XHSW - 16 - 113743828
File No.: XHSW - 16036**
-------------------------------------------------
As expected, AOR was already sent on Jul 22 2016. :-[ So technically I just have 10 days left before my DD reaches OINP office. Please correct if I am wrong.

Guys, require your prompt revert on the following:
1. Apart from Application & File No., what all information should I specify on the envelope containing the DD??
2. To request for the old DD, I need to send them a mail informing the same. Any additional stuff to be done??

It will when applicant has to create new profile in case of expiration, if OINP will not give nomination on time!!

My personal opinion though.

15 CA CB form is required only if you hold an NRE/NRO account.

My personal opinion though.

this is OINP own confirmation - no need for opinions when we have a rule in place:
A candidate who reports an age difference between the time they receive a Notification of Interest (NOI) from OINP and the time a decision is to be made by OINP officers for their application could lose CRS points that had been awarded to them for their age and for FSW points, which are criteria under the Human Capital Priorities Stream of our program, and those are the criteria under which applications under this stream are assessed.

In that circumstance, an applicant will not be automatically disqualified for nomination.

OINP will take into consideration the age changed after NOI by using the age at NOI as our parameter for assessment, but at the same time, applicants must continue qualifying under all other criteria.

Thats for OINP and we all know what you shared. But thanks.

I mentioned about EE profile expiration.

CIC will not make new profile eligible when points are less than 400. It's gonna be very hard for applicant to followup to prove his point.
